If you’re a local to West Seattle you know that Super Deli Mart has been a neighborhood staple for a wide variety beer and wine for many years. If you’re a local to Seattle, you know that the Deli in the Super Mart used to be Hoagies Corner. If you’re any of these, you also know about the Cheesy British Sandwich. This sandwich has been on my favorites list since I was a kid and Super Deli Mart was the last remaining vendor and keeper of the original recipe. I went today for the first time in awhile to get myself a Cheesy British and was monumentally disappointed in my sandwich. They’ve changed the lettuce and the build was poorly executed. RIP Super Deli Mart and the great Cheesy British.

Super cool staff. This is a very interesting place that offers drinks and sandwiches. Has to be the neatest sandwich I ever had. The sandwich was made with care and it was very good. The parking is very limited but I would definitely still recommend.

Been enjoying the Cheesy British (and other hoagie roll sandwiches like the Canadian, German, etc) here since 1983 - dating back to the spot's previous "Hoagies" namesake. Ask for it 'hot' so the cheese and mustard-mayo sauce merge together making it truly "cheesy." Ask for Sri Racha if you want a spicy nacho-y zest.

We visit Super Deli Mart every couple of months to pick up some new drinks, and we love their selection of energy drinks and CBD products. My husband is especially a fan of their impressive beer and IPA variety. While the prices can be a bit high, we see it as a treat and don't mind splurging now and then. The staff is always wonderful and adds to the great experience. It's definitely a fun spot for unique finds and quality drinks!

I guess my husband and I were clocked as "undesirable" since we're a male-male couple. Never mind the fact that we're just a couple of average suburban guys in our 50s looking for a quick bite and a beer.
We read the positive reviews about this place and were eager to check it out since we're right down the road near Lincoln Park.
The moment we walked up to the counter the reception was coldl and distant. There were two guys behind the counter and they started giving each other mocking glances as we were trying to place our orders for IPA on tap and some sandwiches, as if we were part of some inside joke.
I ordered a Reuben sandwich which was piled high with an unusually large amount of sauerkraut and maybe one full slice of meat. The IPA was good, which is the only positive thing I can say about my experience. I would have taken the sandwich back but it had already been a hellish week and I was just trying to unwind.
All I can say is that I wouldn't patronize this establishment again.
I wish I could give 0 stars for expensive ales in a shabby convenient mart setting with homophobic customer service.

The best beer selection in Seattle! Incredible sandwiches too, wonderful employees who are so friendly and so happy to talk beer (or anything else with you). There is not a better deli in Seattle!

I was there today. And I love your staff and I love the people that hang out there. But the beer selection was not that good. Can you please change it?

Love this place with all my heart. Low brow unpretentious community beer, wine and sando spot with nice folks and just the right amount of funk. Don't ever change SDM, we need you

When I was growing up in Bellevue, our favorite place to grab late night subs was Hoagies Corner. Now, I discovered that my Cheesey British, French, and German subs are here. My childhood is now recognized in the small place that was probably a Hoagies Corner back in the day. These subs are great, or maybe they are just my good memories coming back, I am going with great flavors. There is quite a selection of unique beers and other assorted beverages. From the outside, it is just an older building that you would drive by and never give it a second thought. There is a good seating area inside and outside. The service is consistent and friendly. I would definitely recommend stopping by here, preferably during daylight hours.

Great local spot for sandwiches. Amazing selection of beer.

Easily one of the best deli sandwich shops in West Seattle. My only suggestion would be for them to try and put the wet sauces in between the dryer toppings and away from the bread to avoid soggy bread. I had the roast beef on sourdough. This place is a must try.

Guy informs me he can’t make a sandwich because they close deli at 9:00. Checked my phone and time was exactly 9:00. Who does that? I guess they can afford to since they’re always busy. Super frustrating. I should clarify that it sounded really busy at the time: so we’re not taking about them trying to clean up and close down early. He was just too checked out to care about making a sandwich.

Our family's favorite West Seattle spot for a fantastic beer list, great local regular community of folx in and out and fabulous staff and ownership.
