Don’t get your knife sharpened here! They ruined the tip and blade angle of my Japanese knife (bunka). When I went back in to get a refund Mark was very apologetic and kind. The tall, lanky, white, effeminate guy was very rude, and tried to say that it was sharpened correctly, but then told me where I could take it to get it fixed. So is it correct or do I need to get it fixed? He said there is no way for them to refund my money. It’s 2025, you can refund or adjust a credit card payment after the fact. You’ve been warned!

Charles was exceptionally patient and unbelievably helpful with finding new knives. I was overwhelmed with all the options and he was great with listening to what I was looking for and my concerns about upkeep on such nice knives. Truly a joy to be around.

Charles was incredibly helpful in guiding us toward a new set of knives and pots. We wanted items that would really last and we appreciate his knowledge and support. We came in the midst of a busy holiday season and crowd, but everyone was warm and present. It's great to have a relationship with someone you can trust at a local store!

Out of state visitors here -- we loved our Minnesota Sur La Table store until it closed. So we were THRILLED to find this one at Pike Place Market while visiting Seattle. It's a great store with awesome products and service. Shout out to CHAD, who helped us decipher the espresso machine world with a wealth of information and a demo. We appreciated his expertise! Please bring back stores in Minnesota! :)

I visited this store today, the customer service was horrible. I was totally insulted when i went to check out & the man asked me where i was from, i said Minnesota, he made the comment that i should buy a casserole dish then. I felt very disrespected and disappointed in this comment. I almost returned my stuff because it was so damn rude

The clerk is nice, but one of the cashier is rude. He didn’t look at me when he handed me the goods. I think he discriminated against Asians or people who are not good at English.
