It was one of my favorite restaurants, and I've been coming back for the hayashi rice for the past two years. However, tonight the hayashi rice was awful, they changed the some of the ingredients and the eggplant wasn't even cooked. This dish just made me feel so bad. Not

The food was good. Goyza is not fried, more like Chinese-style spicy dumplings. The four of us spent $250. Gender markings in the restrooms are not very obvious.Parking: No free parking.

Food is great, but the waitresses let their friends skip the line. Saw this in person several times.Don't fall for the "we'll text you when your table is ready" thing.I did that and waited almost two hours on a 45min wait last time, just to get the wrong table, not showing friends this place anymore

First time here. Love the decor, it transports you straight to Japan. Great experience, food presentation and flavors. The ginger beer was so fresh with just the right amount of honey sweetened.Highly enjoyed the hot stone wagyu, I would be back for that.

Wagyu beef cooked on a hot rock?!?! Yup. And it was good. Our group ordered from the Happy Hour and dinner menus - everything was great. The poutine was tough to stop eating. Finishing with soft-serve ice cream with bourbon caramel sauce = good choice.

Me and my husband were there for dinner last Sunday. Shortly after consuming the meal, we both had diarrhea.(That's the only meal we ate on that day) Tried to reach out to the restaurant regarding food safety concern. Never hear back from them.The service was bad. We had some leftover and could not finish. I asked for a container and packed the food. When I left the restaurant, I forgot about the container. I went back into the restaurant 5 mins after, they already tossed my take-out container. I don't understand why you would toss a customer's take-out container if they ask for one.Will not go back again due to safety issue and bad costumer service.

great food, very fresh sushi and they put a lot of effort into presenting every dish nicely. the cocktails are also very fun, they have a lot of unique flavors and addins like squid ink and yuzu. service was fast.

My friends and I came for HH. We were about to get a dining table. Service and food were tasty. I loved how the poutine wasn’t super cheesy. There was no picture but my friends enjoyed the Unagi bowl and Hayashi rice.

TL;DRHorrible service, not upholding reservation time, forgetting food, poor quality of food, forgetting they told us we would be discounted for their mistakes. Read on for details:Extremely dissapointed in the place as it used to be one of my favorite spots. I had horrible service and the food wasn't very good either.Girlfriend and I came here for my birthday a year ago and it was amazing so we came back again this year, and we will likely not be visiting again.We made a reservation for 7:00 and it took until 7:30 to even be seated, since they gave our spot accidentally to someone who came in after us. Once we were seated, we waited 15 minutes for water! I think they are short-staffed so I'm sure the servers were just as unhappy as we were, but that is no excuse for ignoring us and over-booking... that's the whole point of making reservations. We were told our whole check would be discounted for their mistake(they ended up forgetting this).The chirashi bowl was basically all the scrap cuts of fish, and not at all what I would consider a $28 chirashi bowl to be. It was also just filled to the brim with raw cut carrots? This is all after being told by the waiter multiple times that my bowl is "just now being made" as I would then wait another 20 mins to get it. It's like they waited to use all the scraps from the fish they sold other people to make my food.I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but I really just don't want someone to experience what we had to. To top it all off, our server never told us their name, then asked us if we wanted to just give her our card or see our itemized bill. We asked for the bill and saw that the discount they told us was not applied, and she responded with "they were going to give you dessert" which was not what we were told or even offered when they literally tossed the menu on our table and ran off. The problem was that instead of telling us how it was, they made an excuse or unreasonable expectation every chance they had.Again, I think they were short-staffed so maybe it was a bad night. However, with how many people we overheard saying the same things, I think we will just be avoiding this restaurant from now on until they can get their front of house and kitchen together.

I feel disappointed with this place. The ambience is essentially perfect. You've even got employees talking to each in Japanese. But the food is quite bland. I really like this space, so I hope they step up their culinary skills.

The food was so good! My friend and I got raw food and was so fresh and delicious. They have a wide variety of food and drinks to pick from. The atmosphere is nice and the service is so good. I would for sure come here again.
