Incredibly frustrating experience. I asked her to do 4 projects - an alteration of pj pants, a nighty from scratch, pj pants from scratch, and a dress from stretch. I brought her material that I bought in India. Most of it silk. She said she could do it without a problem and showed me other projects she was working that all looked great.For an entire year she had my material and made tiny incremental progress. However much of the time she did nothing. I had to constantly follow up and check in with her, at which time she always promised me something would be done shortly even going so far as committing to various due dates, none of which she met. This went on for AN ENTIRE YEAR.After an entire year she finished only the alteration on the pj pants. What's more upsetting however, is she gave me a 1/2 finished nighty that doesn’t fit me at all. It’s much much too small for me - a full 4-5 inches too small around my torso. Which basically means that the material I bought is now useless and ruined as it’s too small to be cut for another project and it's not possible to enlarge material once it's been cut too small.I asked her what happened and she said "I can't meet your expectations you should go somewhere else." It was such a maddening response, as if my expectations were greater than simply that she properly complete the project she committed to do. If she couldn’t meet my expectations she should have told me that before she cut, and ruined my silk.When I asked her for an explanation, she kept saying that the pj pants alteration came out ok (they're just ok, nothing to write home about), as if changing the subject was helpful. She even tried told me I was "pretty" in the middle of my asking for some sort of explanation, as if flattery would distract me from the fact that she completely ruined my material and wasted a year of my time. She measured me, made a pattern and cut the material 5 inches too small. It's just complete negligence on her part.Absolutely would not recommend.

Well it's been about two months since our wedding but I wanted to share my experience to help others NOT work with Theresa in the future. My wife and I came to Theresa to get our wedding attire fixed, my simple request for my suit was to hem and tailor both the pant cuffs and the jacket's sleeve. My wife asked for her sleeves to be shortened as well as an adjustment to the tool. Short story short - she completely ruined both items. She simply can't cut a straight line as ever piece was completely crooked and jagged. The stitching was done by someone who you would imagine was five years old. I have absolutely no experience or business doing this as a living but I can guarantee that I could do a way better job. Our responses to pictures showing this "work" was simply met with fake legalese about how the clothing was an issue. She can't even accept blame. Anyways to close out let's just say Theresa has no job being a tailor.

Theresa is literally the best at her job and one of the nicest most big hearted people I have ever met. She altered my blouse for me just exactly the way I wanted it and it looked better than I thought it would, Plus it only took her like 3 minutes! I am totally coming back here anytime I need another alteration done. Thank again Theresa!!!

Excellent work at a reasonable cost. Theresa does a great job of making a person feel at home with her advice on alterations of the clothing that I brought in to her.
