The 5th Avenue Theatre is one of America's leading musical theater companies, enriching the community with original powerhouse productions that go on to light up marquees and audiences all the way to Broadway. The beautiful historic theater is able to host musicals and other events, with fine sight lines even from the back row of the balcony. Visitors praise the gorgeous old building in the heart of downtown Seattle, with incredible plays and friendly staff always willing to take your photo. The comfortable seats, reasonable food and beverage options, and easy access to restrooms make for an enjoyable experience. While the detailed Chinese-themed decorations in the lobby and theater impress, there is room for improvement in managing distractions during performances.
Dragons coil across the proscenium once the usher walks you down the aisle of the Skinner Building. I had a seat under the coffered ceiling for a touring musical, and the organist played a short piece before curtain that bounced off all that Imperial-palace plaster.

Amazing beautiful venue. Generally used for theater, but also used for the occasional concert. The sound for the concert was incredible. Very easy to get in and out. Seated concert while also allowing the freedom to dance. Highly recommended.

What an amazing concert experience! First time seeing a band here. The sound is great & there isn't a bad seat in the house. Definitely go if you have the chance!
