If you need your child to get the most ridiculous hair cut (Jim Carrey’s Dumb & Dumber hair style), not listen to what your child hair needs are, and disregard your concerns for triggers that might impact your child during the appointment (hair dryer, trimmers)… come right ahead... THIS IS YOUR PLACE.Hopefully I can find a place that can fix the mess my son has in his hair (thankful that it’ll grow back)… I should’ve known to leave after the way I was treated after seating my son in her chair.Came for the positive reviews, made a call to confirm that they had experience with autistic children (was told “oh sure, our girls have over 30 years experience) and left with a very bitter and unpleasant experience.Service: Kids' cuts

Docking one star for the price of a child’s haircut, but otherwise it’s great. My kid loves this place. It’s located in the back of a toy store, which is brilliant… I look forward to coming here.

My daughter got a haircut here and it was much shorter than we had discussed with the stylist. I was told I could leave the salon to walk around, and I should have stayed to make sure the length was correct. When I returned 5 minutes later, the cut was extremely short and much shorter than we had discussed. I had to carry her out of the salon in tears, as she is devastated and feeling very self conscious. This experience is very disheartening as we have had many haircuts here in the past and had positive experiences. I don't understand how you can cut a girls hair much shorter than they requested and it will unfortunately take months to grow back.Service: Kids' cuts

Made it a fun experience for my 3 year old, they explained everything they were doing so he didn’t get nervous or surprised, talked to them the entire time to make it fun and go by quick.

The salon is inside a toy store. The coolest concept I have seen. Friendly staff, very well organized store with lots of different toys.The haircut part was super fast and easy. The kids were super happy and looking forward to their next haircut already. ?♂️

Quality toys, knowledgeable staff for recommendations, efficient check-out. Parking lot can be a little cray cray, but hey, it's seattle.

This is such a great store. They have a great variety of unique toys and books--you can find something for every kid here. The layout of the store is fantastic; it's well-organized and you can easily find items based on the child's interests/hobbies. The staff have always been very welcoming and helpful by answering questions/pointing me in the direction of some great items. We have also never felt pressured to make a purchase, and they have never made me feel bad about having two young kids running throughout the store touching everything and carrying stuffed animals with them that they don't intend on purchasing! We always have a positive experience when we come here.

Snapdoodle does it again! I can't say enough great things about this store, their staff/management and the products they carry. They always go above and beyond in creating a special shopping experience for us and have the best recommendations for gifts. Highly recommend!

My girls had a great time at The Salon at Snapdoodle. They took all our temps when we arrived and had good spacing for covid precautions but it still felt kid friendly. Both stylists listened to what my daughters wanted and my requests for their hair (they wanted as long as possible but needed a few inches at least to get the split and dead ends off). The stylists were engaging (I could hear my 8 year old chatting the whole time with her stylist) and made my girls feel comfortable. Neither girl wanted to get their haircut this morning but they left so happy, repeatedly checking their reflections the rest of the day, and said it was their favorite part of the day.

My 2yo had her first ever haircut here today. After some initial protesting, she liked being in the car and the music box with magnets, great distractions! Nhan was sweet with her and patient, and didn’t make the experience any longer than necessary. Thank you!

My preschooler has had her haircut here a few times (first time when she was 2). Everytime it has been great. My daughter loves it and always leaves with a great cut and a big smile. The conversations she has with the stylist while they cut her hair are hilarious.Service: Haircut
