Love this shop...have been in a handful of times, and the last time I got to meet the owner Sabra who is sweet and friendly. I took my time browsing all the beautiful spices and learned that borage is a good tea for inflammation. This time I got some cumin, curry leaf, hot chili powder, and daal. I can't believe the prices are so low, I will be coming here from now on to stock up on my spices :)

I wanted to try my hand at some more authentic Indian cooking, and came searching for dry mango powder (Amchur), hing (asafoetida), and fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi). This place had it all and more! The shop owner was very kind in helping me locate the ingredients, and even offered some cooking tips.

I love getting my spices from here. The owner is pleasant to talk to, and she gave me advice on which spices I should use in different cooking situations. Although the store is on the smaller side, they got what you need.
The prices are great too!

A little place to look at home goods. Service always friendly. Recently bought the prettiest Jhumka earrings from here.

My Mom and I were in town (from Dallas, TX) for an Alaskan Cruise last month. We were staying at the Marriott Waterfront. It was beautiful and sunny outside and we decided to eat our way through Pike Place Market. A hopeful search for a traditional Turkish Tea ensued, and this place had it! It was perfectly packaged for freshness, and I could just imagine a kettle of freshly boiled water and the exotic, spicy, and enticing aroma hitting me in the face as soon as I poured it over the tea bag. The enticing aroma is also what drew me to her cute little store. One of the owners, Sabra, was a delightful lady who assisted us as soon as we entered her store. She also makes the best Baklava I have ever had! Will definitely visit again when we are in town!

I saw a photo from a couple months ago stating this business was closed and wanted to update-- I just walked in earlier today and they're open! Such a fun place and the store keeper was really kind :)

Gem of a shop nestled in north end of Pike Place Market. Reasonable prices for Middle Eastern and Indian specialty items. Warmand friendly owner and the baclava … yum.

Stepping into The Souk in Seattle, you're greeted with the delightful aroma of fresh baklava and the warmth of the charming shop owner. Their baklava is the star of the show - a heavenly blend of buttery phyllo, rich nuts, and a perfect touch of sweetness. It's not just a treat; it's an experience, enhanced by the owner's captivating stories and genuine hospitality. A must-visit for anyone in Seattle craving authentic baklava and a touch of heartwarming conversation.

I was sad to find the space empty but for, visible through the window, the fixtures. No sign or explanation, but looks like it's closed for good.

This place has a lot of kitchen and other household stuff you need from India and the Middle East, and it’s perfect for last-minute shopping. You can count on their opening hours, unless Pike Place is having a special event. The cashier is super friendly and will help you find exactly what you need or something close enough.
