Super friendly and helpful clerks. Explained everything and helped as much as they could!

This is a busy, neighborhood post office that I have used for 35 years. I have never had a negative interaction with the (overworked) staff.

Terrible mailman, I asked him about a package we were expecting, he just ran off. We went to the post office, they said it’s out for delivery, which we knew. Then we saw him again on the way home, pulled over, oh there it was in his pocket. This is NOT h th e first time very important mail has not been delivered.

The self service machine couldn't read any of my cards, I had to wait in a long line to buy one stamp at the counter.

If you’re trying to mail a package on time even with USPS priority mail, good luck here because they don’t care! They have no understanding of what a schedule is, or professionalism is as they are rude and unhelpful. I don’t why I try. after I’ve had multiple packages being brought and handed to the clerk at the window the tracking status in their system stays “USPS awaiting item” for TWO WHOLE DAYS even though THEY HAVE THE ITEM.
So frustrating dealing with them and as much as Bobby was trying to be helpful, he also proved to be incompetent as he himself told me it would be possible for it to arrive on time, but he clearly knows nothing too.

Every time I go here, there’s a line out the door; and not for good reason. I don’t think there’s ever been more than one staff on the clock at the same time, it takes 20+ minutes to get anything done. The self-help kiosk isn’t working, either.

I'm certain I bought stamps from this so called rude Asian lady. She's normal and was pleasant to deal with imo. She's kurt, to the point and likely her way of doing things is perceived as rude. I was happy with my experience today.

Outside door locked 7pm weekday, earlier on weekend. We have to take time off during work hours to get into our paid mailboxes. They need a different lock system that we can get into our paid mailboxes. Locking up 7pm is NOT an efficient method to deter mail thief nor homelessness. The mailbox fees have been going up yearly and nothing has improved to the services.

I live in Wedgwood and now go out of my way to go to Northgate to ship my packages just so I don't have the chances of running into the Asian lady (long hair and glasses) that works there (before anyone calls racism I'm literally an Asian woman). The encounters with other workers were very pleasant - the few encounters I've had with this lady were so horrible I now choose to go to another place completely. I understand working is not enjoyable for the average person, but when you're so rude it ruins multiple people's moods when they are just trying to get their packages out it is honestly so distasteful. I hope the staff see this review and discuss corrective actions because there is no reason for somebody to be that unpleasant, cold, and rude to their customers unprovoked.

Should put up a sign that they are out of tape so people don’t wait in line for 30 minutes only to get to the front and be unable to ship their packages. Freaking ridiculous for a postal service to be out of tape and not informing people when there is a line out the door.

Oh man, based on some of the grief here, I was scared I was never going to track down a *very* precious missing package, but not only did I get a personal phone call AFTER OFFICE HOURS just a few hours after filing a missing package report with USPS, when that lead to a dead end, I caught the extremely awesome carrier on this route and he helped me find it even though it had been three days since it was misdirected! (Due to a mistake on the address line, not USPS.) Really grateful for the help from the helpful folks in 98115 North Seattle!

Sadly, the most unfriendly Post Office I have ever visited.

It's very easy to see why this place has such horrible rating - in fact it epitomizes everything that's wrong with Seattle - uncaring cold people & nowadays severely short-staffed establishments. I've lived in Idaho for years in the past where I was spoiled with above and beyond customer service, particularly at local post office. I quickly learned what's what & started avoiding this place couple years ago, instead going to UPS, when I've had enough. Recently, though, I needed to call them & relayed situation to Germit, their manager, kindly asking him to hold my mail for the week. I apologized that I didn't do it by the rules, making request in advance online or in person or by mail (I thought my neighbor could get my mail for me, but then couldn't get hold of them. I also deliberately didn't want to go through post office confident they'll mess up mail-hold)). He begrudgingly agreed & was about to hang up the phone. I was calling form the airport. I said, "Wait, don't you want to know my address?" (!!!) He again begrudgingly agreed that may not be such a bad idea & mumbled, "Sure". I gave him my exact address & dates I'll be gone & want mail held, but it was clear he was not writing any of this down. At this point, there wasn't much I could do. I wasn't going to have access to phone or computer for another week. Lo & behold, when I return and turn the key in the mailbox & it's barely turning, I know exactly what's going on. The box was almost exploding (mostly with catalogs, given it's December). Everything was wrinkled & jumbled & it was clear carrier just kept shoving them in. Good thing I didn't have any packages; they would've been stolen for sure sitting there for a week. Was I disappointed? Not really. I still had about 2% hope my request was going to be honored. Silly me. I know 2% is not much, but it was a sliver. He should've been honest with me & told me he's not going to honor my request since I didn't do it through proper channels; it would've been harsh, but I would've understood. I marched straight to post office to voiced my indignation, skipped the line, which was out the door (this was Dec. 5th '23) & walked to the counter asking if Germit was there. The lady kept skirting around my question & kept sending me to the end of the line, as were other disgruntled customers. She explained she was the only one there & that's why no one answered the phone. I wasn't going to stand in line for an hour just to ask if Germit is there - he's the one I needed to complain to. I didn't explain why I was there; she didn't ask. I just walked out. Now, this is not the 1st time I've been chastised by both staff and other customers at this location. By the way, this dark-haired Asian lady (sorry, I don't know her name, have to resort to description) is notoriously rude and many negative reviews here mention her specifically. I don't know how many more it'll take for them to fire her - I'm sure that won't happen given severely short-staffing and probably union. The only decent person there is gentleman named Abraham. I'd advise you to take your business to a competitor like FedEx or UPS, but they won't care - it's not a business so it's no skin off their back; they'll probably just be glad they lost another customer; they get paid by the hour. And next time I'm out of town, I'll pay someone if I have to just to retrieve my mail. Germit has got to have a boss over his head, so I'm really hoping they're reading this.

I might have taught the woman at the counter how to read an address, can't guarantee she got the point.
