This location is so incompetent that I wonder how they stay in business? My personal experience here with staff leaves much to be desired. This location “lost” a certified payment. It was delivered late due to mail carrier negligence and there were no consequences. Accountability was passed on from management on down the line to where I stood and I had to accept accountability for using this place. My review is being created based on this location’s lack of mail forwarding which I applied for and confirmed with a notice sent through my PO Box. This notice was scanned, I was assured my mail would be forwarded but alas, it has been weeks since I have seen a piece of mail from my old apartment. Avoid this place if possible.

I don’t know why they always noted Insufficient Address if they failed to deliver. There’s a big address no. posted outside the driveway. Most of the time, they always delivered to the wrong address.

I was inside my house waiting for them to come and deliver the package because I had to sign for it. And to my surprise, this driver... he's very lazy. He left the paper inside the box and wrote this. What he wrote is in the photos.

I have the best regular postal service delivery person! I see him daily and he’s always smiley, friendly, helpful and kind to my large and noisy doggie! He’s a great representation of customer service in what I imagine a hard job! Area: Ballard, Seattle, 98117, 16th Ave nw route Give the man a raise!

Kudos to this post office for having such diligent and professional staff who are able to help so many of us daily to send the most important things. Grateful for their products like priority Post. I ran in with two Mother's Day presents that needed to get on their way… And for a reasonable rate $11 was able to send each of them knowing they would arrive the day before Mother's Day.
Also absolutely love that they have a parking lot that makes dropping by so much more convenient. At a time when federal funding cuts are attacking so many vital infrastructure services I am so grateful for this post office. Thanks to Jeremiah for his help today, and to the Asian gentleman the other day who helped me figure out the best way to get my package sent. I also overheard another staff person helping a family with their passport applications. She was very thoughtful and patient in explaining the process and which parts the customers did not realize had to be taken care of. I'm truly grateful for the United States Postal Service and for this Bitter Lake location. I hope other people will review their post office locations as well, while we still have them.

My package was in Seattle (the destination) and somehow it got sent to GEORGIA. I needed this for an event tomorrow and it was supposed to be here last week. After them not being able to locate it for a week it finally updated and had been sent across the entire country. How do you accidentally send a package from the proper distribution center across the country?? How do you lose a package for a week? No answers, no help, no follow up about recourse for this gross mishandling of peoples mail. Even fedex could have done better.

Well-run - Polite, patient employees. Kept clean and organized too. Has a drop box for packages as well as a locker for PO box packages which comes in handy. Also good service for package pickup! Never had an issue with them.
