I want to extend my sincere appreciation for Linh, Supervisor of Customer Service at the Ballard Carrier Annex! As a property manager overseeing several multifamily housing buildings, I recently undertook the project of upgrading outdated mailboxes to USPS-compliant, secure, and modern mailboxes. Navigating this process could have easily become complicated and time-consuming, but thanks to Linh’s exceptional support and expertise, it was anything but.
From our very first interaction, Linh was proactive, informative, and incredibly helpful. She provided clear guidance on every step of the process—from ensuring the specifications met current USPS standards to helping coordinate the transition in a way that minimized disruption for my residents. Her responsiveness, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile made a potentially stressful upgrade into a seamless, successful experience.
It’s rare to encounter someone as competent and committed to service as Linh. Her professionalism and genuine care for both property managers and the tenants we serve are a credit to the USPS/ Ballard Carrier Annex. I’m truly grateful for her assistance and cannot recommend her highly enough!

TL;DR
You have to stand outside the locked door and wait for them to come out to you. It’s very confusing and inefficient.
The woman in front of me in line was trying to get help with an incorrect delivery. The employee told her they weren’t going to “waste their time trying to help,” and finished the conversation by telling her “I’m done with you, and this.”

Seriously the best CS support I’ve ever come across from any carrier in the US..
I’ve had numerous issues resolved with the incredible help of various employees at this location and others in the Ballard area with relative ease, it’s actually impressive. How’s that? By being kind and patient with the people who work at these establishments and understanding that mistakes happen especially with services of this magnitude. Just imagine the type of people these places have to deal with. USPS in general interacts with an enormous amount of people including incredibly entitled and incredibly rude individuals. Almost all complaints are of unreasonable expectations. So, if you call or go in to one of their locations with respect and politeness you’d be surprised at just how far some of the employees will go to help in any way they can.
This is exactly what happened recently of an issue I had of a package marked as “Delivered” to my address when it was indeed not. I filed a missing package claim online and within 12 hours the branch supervisor Linh had reached out with a sincere apology and promise of a resolution. She was prompt, professional and most importantly friendly. And as promised, within the next 24 hours the package was located and delivered to my front door.. This didn’t only happen once, but twice! Along with a handful of other issues resolved with the help of the employee at this location.
I’ve lived in numerous other countries where the quality of these services simply do not exist. I’m truly grateful for USPS and for the effort of their employees. You are greatly appreciated!

Linh is SUPER. I had some hurdles receiving a letter, and Linh was very kind and eager to help. She provided timely updates, and I quickly received my letter once she stepped in.

Was supposed to receive a package but they labeled it Return to Sender despite the address being correct and me being listed in the address and refuse to accept any calls placed to fix it.

I have had so many terrible experiences with this post office equivalently to the dmv. This is the first time I was blown away that someone came to the door, greeted me, shook my hand and spent time to help me with my needs. Thank you so much Linh for all your professionalism and making the post office a key place to do business. People like you make people like me buy stamps directly from the post office
