The man helping me was incredibly rude. I came in to mail a passport application. I explained that I didnât know what I was doing. I had the paperwork ready so when he asked me if it was ready I said yes. He saw it wasnât in an envelope and said âwell itâs not ready then, is it?â I was so shocked and flustered I didnât know what to do. Iâm not even sure if I did everything right because they were so unhelpful. Never going there again

I rented a PO BOX here for three months, but havenât frequented it other than that. Never had issues with anyone breaking into my PO BOX, the location is clean and well lit. It is disability accessible, if a bit hard to find- long ramp alongside two staircases to get down.
It looks super sketchy, but I promise itâs actually a USPS haha- Iâve included photos as usual.
There will be no parking nearby, as itâs in the heart of U District. Expect to walk at least two blocks from whatever two-hour street parking you manage to snag.
The staff are pretty rude- mainly the older gentleman who âhelpedâ me set up my PO BOX- Iâve worked customer service for many years so I made sure to have everything Iâd need for it (and already fulfilled the payment online- all I needed to do was get my key) but he still found ways to make it a bad experience.
Constantly interrupting, rushing you through you transaction even if youâre the only person there, talking trash about other customers and how theyâve been ill-prepared, etc. Really not a good experience. If Iâd had the privilege to go elsewhere, I would have- but unfortunately, I was renting the PO BOX to use during a period of homelessness and couldnât be picky as it was last second.
Basically, if you can hold your tongue better than he can, youâll be fine. Tolerate the disrespect, and youâll eventually get what you need. Technically. Assuming being treated like a person is negotiable for you.

This location has the worst management I have ever experienced. Our POB at this location has had horrible service - including them constantly wrongfully rejecting our mail. We have a new box at a new location, but we still have a box that is still paid forward for a few months at the U-district location, and they are still rejecting all of our mail instead of keeping it or forwarding it. This has cost our organization thousands of dollars. Other post offices are offering to step in and help fix the issue. This post office has been a huge detriment to our organization, and I would warn everyone against trusting them with your personal or business mail.

Old guy had a shitty attitude for no rzn. I helped pick up his pen and he didnât even say thank you. And then proceeded to yell at me for directions. Machine is also broken half the time. USPS is basically giving old people jobs for the sake of giving them jobs.

I am out $200 because this post office canât figure out how to put mail in the right mail box. Sellers wonât refund me and the post office has spent weeks âlookingâ for my package. It says delivered and was scanned in at my location and just put in the wrong persons mail box. This has happened not 1 time but FIVE TIMES IN THE LAST 3 WEEKS!!

At this post office these two ladies provide excellent service: Ciara & Chen! Ciara is helpful with direct communication style. Chen is knowledgeable. These are the postal ladies to see.

I had some postcards to send domestic and internationally. They were quick in weighing and printing the postage labels and the staff were nice.
Entrance was hard to find. You had to go down the stairs and enter om the door from the left side of the building. Other than that, no complaints.

This post office did not deliver my package because it didnât fit in the mailbox when all packages have been delivered to the mailbox area. Trying to get help is time consuming. I managed to schedule a redelivery but this post office failed again to deliver on the scheduled redelivery date. I have made multiple attempts to call this post office regarding my package that they have but have not delivered - no one answers the phone which rings and rings for 4 minutes then finally disconnects! There is no customer service or accountability at this post office.

I just wanted to confirm I didnât make any mistake, but the man just didnât want to listen and impatiently slam my envelope on the table. This is so rude! Worst service ever!
