Super nice lady and very nice location, especially compared to the other one in downtown that even feels a bit unsafe, this one is kind of hidden an office building. It took me a moment to find it, it is next to the fitness club on the 3rd avenue lobby.

The USPS staff is really nice. Although my postcard was just sent out yesterday, I am not sure if the postcard will arrive successfully, but I will give recognition to the lady. :)

The low ratings made me cautious but this is my go-to USPS location in Seattle. The lady is very nice and my packages/letters always arrive on time, sometimes even earlier. To get inside of the post office, you have to go left when you enter. If you see the gym, just keep walking till you see the post office sign.

What a great Post office. I am in there four days a week with eBay shipments for henrysfriendlystore of Sequim, WA. The staff are the most professional of any business I deal with. Their knowledge is amazing and have been a great help to me. Not only that but their attitude makes being there enjoyable for customers and they seem to love helping people. I wish every business would study the Sequim Post Office to learn how to give great customer service and with a smile. You only have 5 stars but if you had 10 I would give it to the Sequim Post Office.

What can I say. Another terrible location with terrible employees. Man the USPS gets worse every year.

They sent my package back to sender in another state because I was not home. Instead of reaching out and asking me to come pick up the package at the hub they just sent it back. They held onto the package for 2 weeks and kept updating the status to next day delivery and never delivered it.

This is what you get after decades of insufficient funding for an important public service. The lighting is grim and industrial. The building badly needs maintenance. Everything is dirty. The employees are depressed. Things are slightly disorganized and hard to find. The services offered are extremely limited and expensive. If you can, go to a La Post in France to see what a post office can be. Bright, clean, vibrant, fast, inexpensive, with a plethora of up-to-date services and offerings. We could do so much better. We deserve better. Think about that next time you vote.

I sent my package here and now it's lost because this post office is CLOSED.Is there any way to retrieve my package. Where was it sent to???

It has been temporarily closed (for 2 months according to the security guard of the building) and is not reflected on Google maps nor USPS website.

Let me preface this by saying that I never write reviews, but my experience was so horrible I just had to. There is this old white lady (Rhonda) that you must avoid at all costs. She is unmasked, clearly hates her job and tries to make you waste as much time (and money) as possible by nitpicking everything she can. I've sent many international packages through other USPS locations in Seattle and ran into no problems with my other experiences, but Rhonda was an absolute nightmar. First she insisted that my customs was not filled in correctly. Then she said I had to write the to/from locations in sharpie on the box (even though there is a printed label for that). And then the most ridiculous part of it was she claimed that the first page of the shipping forms had to be taped onto the box (I've never had any other USPS employee do that for international shipments). She made me buy an overpriced $4 tape just to tape it onto the box! It is an actual scam, especially since other locations would just offer some tape. What should've been a 10 minute experience turned into almost an hour. Needless to say, I will not be coming back.

Other employees helpful, but Rhonda wears a face shield and not a mask and doesn't even have it down over her face. She's working directly with people, a shield in between which doesn't have full coverage. I see another review complained as well. This violates the state health mandates. A reasonable accommodation might be to put her in a position that doesn't work directly with the public and have a face shield that actually covers her face, but with it propped up it doesn't do anything. With the new variant, it's a bad move, esp for a public employee.

It’s a hidden post office in the basement of a beautiful office building on the corner of 4th and Madison in the Safeco Plaza at 1001 fourth Ave . Head in and take the escalators all the way to the bottom and go straight towards a fitness sign on the wall and find this little shoebox of a post office tucked away.Or enter off third 3rd to access the building and get to the post office on the ground floor. Look for the address in the window 1001 fourth Ave and your almost there

People wonder why the postal service isn't doing so well? It's in part the staff they hire. This location acts the worst because they're a central hub for Seattle so they think they're hot stuff. There is an older, white woman who runs the front counter and must wake up every day and chooses violence. She is THE grumpiest postal employee I've ever encountered. JUST FIND A NEW JOB!! She will nitpick every single thing about your transaction until you're screaming to get out of there and doubt your item will ever get delivered. My other concern is that she only wears the clear face shield visor and not a face mask. There is no way that thing protects anyone against COVID. While waiting in line I've seen multiple staff members walking around with their masks around their chin. Why force customers to wear them when you won't do it yourself??

Zero stars if could be given. Instead of being helpful they laugh at you for not knowing anything and gossip about you right there on the spot. Take your business down the street to 620 S Orcas Street. The people there are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and actually help you unlike the entitled people at this location.
