The clerk here Evelyn acts just the way she looks. I was standing in line and she was helping a lady and she was being quite friendly with this woman so I was t expecting her to completely turn her attitude with me. I never had to really pull that “card” but this clearly might have been the case. I didn’t approach her wrong, I was asking if she had tape for my box. I was just asking her how do I send this package back that my company wanted me to send back. She talks to me like I’m stupid and uses her fingers to point. Evelyn, let me tell you something, use all that energy you used on me to talk down on me and take care of yourself a little more. You can’t be that sloppy AND have that attitude all in one package.

I urge you, don't go to this location and don't use USPS's Click and Ship prepaid program. I really want to support the USPS but they make it soooo hard. Came here to drop off six prepaid packages and the Click and Ship labels weren't scanning. I was told that there was something wrong with my printer and that they always have problems scanning these labels. So which is it - my printer or the Click and Ship service that's the problem? The clerk started manually entering the bar codes but decided he didn't want to enter in all six of my packages, gave up after two and told me that he would just throw my packages away. Mind you, I was very cordial and did not give them any lip or attitude at all. I mean, I could have had everything processed there on site and they would have had to enter much more info - the to/from addresses, weight, etc and it would have taken much longer. I thought Click and Ship would be a time saver for all. I ended up reprinting the labels and went to a different location. They were able to scan a couple and manually entered the others. What a pain.

I was in here on 12/1/2023 and clerk #16 was a total jerk, being all loud and rude. What happened to the ladies that worked in here. You got rid of the ladies and bring in the bozos who know nothing about customer service. When the ladies worked there they greeted you with a smile. The bozos there now talk to customers like -next come on I ain't got all day. Seriously! Worst experience ever. Never going to this location again.

FYI they don’t give away boxes :( sometimes Whole Foods/Amazon does. Their largest boxes are 20” and around $7 each

I have a PO Box here. Over the past four years I've received over a hundred pieces of mail in my box meant for a different box number. I've also had a couple of packages with high value items completely lost, but marked as delivered. They were likely delivered to someone else. Don't get a PO Box here. They're having a hard time operating this location.

I never have good experiences at usps and had the worst luck of dealing with the manager. He is worse than any Karen I’ve ever met, incredibly arrogant and treats people like they are less than him. Hope you never need service here, place is a dump as well.

This USPS Post Office has long been a staple of the corner of 3rd Avenue and Union Street. The clerks do their best (for the most part) and they don't need to hear that your day is ruined because you had to wait a few minutes to get called up. They give you an avenue to complain if you insist: the QR code on your receipt bottom directs you to an online survey. They all get read.

As someone who works for USPS, if you want to mail a package you're better off paying a little more and using UPS, FedEx, or some carrier. The USPS and their senior management staff simply don't care about employees much less the mail. It's a hellscape. It's no wonder USPS cannot keep employees.

On a good day, when staff is not suffering an invasion of drug addicts, the office and the staff provide stunningly good service- clean and tidy, all kinds of special packaging and priority mail services, patient instructions on how to use the many different services, tons of different kids of stamps, point of sale systems work, its all good.On a bad day, when staff is overwhelmed with "non-customers" of the post office, with piles of clothes and belongings in the doorway, with people shouting and shooting up just 4 feet to the left of the front door.... its miserable. The pics you see posted here are not photoshopped. Best to abandon your tasks, get a brownie from PCC across the street, go home and come back another day.

The carpet needs to be changed and cleaned up it smells like urine really bad. Also today I paid over postage on package and was under on the other since the box didn’t have a size thought it was large the worker didn't want to put the over postage on the other and refused to call a manager since “ she knows it all, and more than them” I worked at the post office at the front so she could have rang the packages together and gave me the difference and instead she gave me a insurance form to fill out she usually is not polite but i make peace today was over the top and with all the reviews on the experiences with her definitely had to post

Went to return a package, and the lady at the counter harshly berated me for returning the package in the same box in came in, as if I'm supposed to just waste perfectly good cardboard for no reason? Even if this is the policy, she could have informed me in a respectful manner, rather than letting her voice drip with disdain as she spoke to me. She then was extremely rude to the customer behind me too. Also, the place smelled like urine when I walked in. Terrible experience.

I have had a Post Office box here for 23 years. Recently my box was broken into, with mail and a package stolen. There have been signs posted recently about break ins at this location, but I assumed I’d be ok with a locked box and hopefully awareness and better security from postal workers. I reported the broken lock to a very unsympathetic and uncaring postal employee. Almost every window in this location has been boarded up since 2020, and the main areas where boxes are located smell like urine. The main front doors at two entrances are also boarded up or broken. I’m not sure what has happened to create such a poor facility and service here, and I am frustrated and feel like I have no remedy. I have been hoping this would get better, but things are unfortunately getting worse here. So this is just a heads up to others to hopefully save you the same hassle. I have filed a claim with the postal service, but won’t hold my breath that anything will come of it.

It’s a post office, it’s a little awkward to get around there but not as bad as the one in international district that basically a hallway. Never had any issues but not the most efficient place, don’t hold it against them, the postal service is complicated! All love to all the workers there.
