About Van Asselt Community Center

Van Asselt Community Center is a friendly place for children to play. The staff are spectacular, kind, and attentive. It has a clean outdoor space for kids, picnics, and barbecues. The center needs better parking and more fences for safety. The public bathroom is moderately clean. It is a longtime community center with a nice area to enjoy the sunshine.

    The most diverse place to be with lots of activities for the youth+adults+seniors! I heard they're starting a new youth filmmaking class in fall 2025 can't wait for that! 🎬

    I met a lot of the staff here, right now it's Emerson elementary School. I am a school bus monitor and they are really good with the kids the kids enjoy being there, very very sweet people
