Took my new cats here and I mentioned concerns (heart murmur update, sound of my cats lungs) to the vet and then she never told me what she thought after looking over them, I had to ask. She told me my cat’s heart murmur was no longer detected, but on the after care summary they wrote that there is a heart murmur which impacts my pet insurance. She also told me my cat was about 15lbs but on the after care summary wrote 17lbs, which is confusing. Vet tech and front desk were kind.

I've had countless great experiences with different vets while taking my cat here for the past 5 years. We started with the kitten careclub and then have kept the cat careclub since. They're very nice and thorough, and one time they even stayed open slightly late so I could rush my cat there after he had eaten a bunch of tulips so I could avoid needing to go to the emergency vet. I highly recommend taking your animal here.

OOF! I’ve had great experiences with other VCA hospitals but this location was such a let down. First off, the prices are super inflated. While other vets charge $50-$75 for an exam, this location charges $120 for the exam fee alone. I took my two healthy, middle aged cats in for their annual wellness check and vaccines, and the total was a whopping $600 at checkout. I was actually speechless. I then received an estimate of $1600-$2200 for one of my cats to have one tooth pulled. I easily found another local clinic that estimated the cost of the surgery for around $700.Then there’s the general lack of friendly service. The receptionist was cold and unwelcoming when I arrived and when I checked out, and had zero understanding or compassion when I was shocked at the bill. The vet seemed pretty disinterested in me and my animals as well. Honestly, the kind vet tech was the only positive part of my experience here.

We took our dog here for the first time since moving to the neighborhood. The receptionists, techs and doctor were all very friendly and professional and provided a very thorough wellness exam along with a thoughtful new client goodie bag. The services, convenience, and clean, well-maintained facility make up for the high costs (which are understandable considering the neighborhood and the clinic being a VCA). We also appreciated the staff taking the time to provide an itemized estimate as budgeting vet expenses over the year is a must for us. Overall, a great experience from start to finish.

I scheduled to have my dog put down, but because my dog hadn't been there for year (because I wan't living in Magnolia) they were adamant about a wellness assessment fee of an extra $210 fee... this is what a Public Company does... no compassion... all profits.

The doctor and techs are nice and seem fine, though I do often hear the them complaining about pets/owners while I'm waiting in the exam room. The receptionist (short-ish hair), on the other hand, could not be colder or more unfriendly. She neither greeted me nor made any acknowledgement of our presence and gave serious attitude when I approached to ask if I need to check in (and again when leaving and I asked about checking out). I gave a friendly "goodbye" and she said nothing and just glared at me. Horrible attitude aside, it would have been nice to be informed when I checked in that there is about a 15min wait due to an unforseen emergency earlier in the day, just suggestion for the future. I show up to my appointments on time and expect that the doctor will do the same; if there is a delay, it should be communicated.

Do not take your pet here for emergency treatment. $1400 for an X-ray and advised to go else where. Outrageous.

Quick nail trim at the Thursday walk in. In and out in less than 10 mins, not counting waiting in line.

I’d expect that if I called a place that was called VCA MAGNOLIA ANIMAL HOSPITAL with an emergency for my puppy I wouldn’t be told they weren’t a hospital. They were rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. The good news is my puppy is fine now and we found a Vet that didn’t have such incredibly poor front office staff.

Wonderful reception and veterinary staff--eager to help, kind, and knowledgeable. They didn't hesitate to provide care for our Golden -even at the end of a day on a Friday! Thank you.

I did not get to make an appointment with VCA Magnolia Animal Hospital due to their packed appointment schedule, however, the person I spoke with was so professional and tried to give me the best answers to my questions that she could. She also recommended a few other places that might be able to help me. ?
