Thieves, stay away at all costs. I was compelled to take out a loan with this bank because my solar installer selected it for me. They will not allow me to pay off the loan, directed my payments to a savings account I never requested, and are now charging me "administrative fees" for an account I did not want. Attempts to contact them lead to an answering machine. If they call me back, it's at a time when I'm at work and cannot answer the phone. I have to take a day off work to try and catch them when I anticipate they will call so I can talk to them. This sort of banking practice should be illegal... just stay away.

Used them for years. Moved. They do not have a convenient location in Bellevue. Would be nice if they had one in downtown Bellevue.

I had a perfect payment history more than 5 years long. I missed one payment on my ready money account due to life circumstances and Verity had my Credit Score dropped by 121 points!! Now I can not by my 1st home due to Veritys practices of profits over members. This Bank is also not Accredited with the Better Business Bureau either. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK!!!!

Communication is horrible. Requested a loan statement 4 times and still can't get one emailed to me. Lots of hidden fees for things. Customer service is horrible. They want payment but no one can ever process payments. Had I known they were going to be this difficult and unprofessional. I would have gone with other alternatives. I would never recommend a loan from them.

Verity has a good location and an okay in person experienceBut their technology and their online platforms, including their credit card systems are one of the least, if not the the least convenient banking experienceExample :Credit Card: their credit card experience is through a third party system. Which makes it difficult to use their credit card and payments in the app. You'll be directed to another partner and then pay againOnline app: their app is not an app, but a mobile page loading on the app interface and it's usability is so poor that I'd rather use desktop for it. Not to mention that even that is down on maintenance for most of the daysCard issuing system: despite their poor technology systems, I had an auto pay scheduled for my insurance with my credit card and they did not issue my replacement till about a week before expiry. So I had to cancel every thing that I used the card for , since I can't rely on this bank for seemless banking experienceCustomer experience: my banking experience partner from Verity called me to talk about my experience. I said okay, she tried connecting me to an agent and guess what "I was hearing system error messages" without talking to the next person..till I disconnectedI would definitely recommend Verity to step into banking in the 21st century from their ancient approach of 19th century. You get your technology right, your customers will stick. If not you'll continue to bleed customers, whatever you might try

The manager at the Outlet Collection is the only person who is rude to me!! I asked for a statement from a specific account and he on purpose gave me another account three different times. He's the manager and it took another employee to do it. Took half an hour and he did it on purpose. Then tells me I am difficult. No this is not what a manager does, be petty and childish to their clients. Terrible choice to represent Verity credit union!

Discrimination at its finest apparently you can only get toe supervisors on the phone the two Karen's , Pam or Katie I will file a complaint every day with THE BBB to save anyone from the worst loan experience ever! They are not willing to sit and work out a solution or help their customers it's easier for them to discriminate and laugh or mock your situation ! DO NOT FINANCE OR BANK WITH VERITY IF YOUR NOT WHITE ! Worst customer service ever !!!!! i wish they had negative -10 stars as a choice

I've been with Verity Credit union for many years and generally have had a good experience. However, in recent years I've run into many arbitrary limits and "rinky-dink" systems that I've decided to move most of my business elsewhere. The latest frustration: I tried to deposit a check via the Mobile app only to receive an error stating that the check was too large. This, after being told to write "For mobile deposit only". Ugh... So now I'm headed to a branch, during a pandemic. A competitor that I've only been with a few months allows checks up to $50,000. If you have a branch near you and don't mind a few fiddly and arbitrary limits, go for it. Otherwise, bank elsewhere.

I have been a member and an employee at Verity and on both sides of the counter they take care of their people. Wouldn't want to "bank" anywhere else. P.S. We need a new word for "banking" at a credit union because it really isn't "banking" at all, it's SO MUCH better.

I went to the Verity Credit Union in Beacon Hill near the VA. As an older person they were rude, discriminatory toward older people, and the least helpful I've ever found a credit union. Ive interacted with BECU and Alaska USA and they are so much more helpful. Even the manager at this branch did not try to solve my problem or make suggestions. Would not recommend that Branch or credit union.

I rarely leave reviews on Yelp, but feel compelled to do so for this branch and Verity in general. I have been banking with them since 2009, when I was a student at UW and interest rates on their Checking account was 4% !! :-) Through the last 12 years, their customer service and ease of transaction has been nothing but stellar. I can cite many examples, but the latest one happened today, when I needed a cashier's check for my home down payment. I called at 2:20 pm from Issaquah, they gave me an appointment for 3 pm, I walked in at 3 - the office was clean and empty. Got a cashier's check for free within 5 min and was out of there at 3:05. Cannot beat that! Once before, in Aug 2020, we were in Fresno, CA and needed a cashier's check. We just called, were pointed to a California Credit Union that participated in shared branch services, and again, got done in minutes, for free. I wish all banks (looking at you B of A) were this easy to work with.

I've been a member there since 18Mar1991 and they are VERY DIFFICULT people to lend you money. I do not recommend.
