All the techs are very caring and knowledgeable, and always take the time to answer all our questions. Dr Meredith is an absolutely incredible doctor and I appreciate his ability to be very thorough and efficient at the same time. 5 stars!”
“We have taken our pets to Madison street for years. This past year, we had to let our two elderly cats go at different times for different illnesses. Most recently, we did a lot of interventions, including hospitalization at a different emergency hospital and specialist care at another place as Madison does not have 24 hour care. While the other place had the specialist care our cat needed, the contrast in how responsive and accessible the vets and staff were was very stark. The staff at Madison Street checked on our cat and supported us even when she was getting treated elsewhere. If you call, you talk with a caring person and you will get a call back in a timely way. At the other place, you might not hear back for 8 hours, or not at all. And the vets at Madison St supported us when it became clear further intervention did not make sense. They were very compassionate during a very difficult time. They are great for regular care - even though we moved further away last year, we continue to bring our other pets here because we trust their professionalism and genuine care for their patients.”

Cascade Heights Veterinary Clinic has the best staff possible. I had seen Dr. Kathleen Paulson when she worked at another clinic. I have transferred my two cats to her clinic. It is more convenient to my home and I appreciate the family - like atmosphere at Cascade Heights. Dr. Paulson is a very knowledgeable and professional doctor. I trust what she tells me and she is conscious of the difficulty some owners may have in paying high vet costs. She will explain her decisions carefully and present alternatives if needed. I am overjoyed to have this clinic in our neighborhood.”

“I have been a customer of Northeast veterinary Hospital for three years now and feel very lucky to have my dog in their care. From the front office staff to the vet techs, to the veterinarians, everyone has been incredibly patient, kind & thorough. During the early days of COVID, this entire organization pivoted in every way they could to keep themselves, owners & pets safe. They managed huge volumes of phone calls, lots of new COVID pets, and I'm sure huge amounts of stress. New procedures for check in, short staffing, and grumpy customers-- but they endured and did their best to juggle a very challenging time.
Having a new puppy at that time required a handful of visits & while there were some small challenges getting all the vaccines documented, they straightened everything out. When my dog got very sick with giardia, they followed up by phone to make sure she was improving.
I appreciate having several vets available & all have been kind & thorough in their care. I highly recommend them & appreciate their entire team.”
“I’ve been bringing both my pets (cat and dog) to Mercer vet for a few years now. Everyone is so incredibly nice from the front desk, to the assistants/techs and vets. They are great at helping you over the phone with getting you an appt and advice for what to look out for, are so good with the animals once you’re there, and giving you feedback on your concerns. I have a pretty anxious dog, and they always spend extra time making her (Pigeon) feel safe and gets coddled through the appt. I really appreciate how they walk you through charges beforehand so you are not surprised at the end with a huge bill like some practices I’ve been to in the past. “I was fed up with my old vet and switched over to Ravenna Animal Hospital because a friend referred me. After the first visit its already been night and day. The doctor sat with me and my dog and actually gave me some quality time to help figure out what is going on with my pup. We setup a diagnostic plan that feels thorough and I feel like we're finally going to get answers to her health issues! Such a great staff from intake perspective too - they got us in fast, were helpful at checkout, and just overall very pleasant demeanor overall!! Highly recommend!”

“There are very few people I would trust with my dog the way I trust the team at Ballard Animal Hospital. We first started going there when he was just 10 weeks old, and 8 years later, I still wouldn’t want to take him anywhere else. I really trust all of the doctors, as well as the rest of the medical team.....everyone is wonderful!! I also appreciate that Ballard Animal Hospital isn't owned by a corporate monstrosity. It is a veterinary hospital where the people know you, know your dog, and genuinely care.
Estimates are explained clearly and given before any treatment, so you always know what is happening and what something will cost.
Most importantly, my dog gets amazing care from a staff that treats him like their own. I have had him inside those walls for pretty much every type of appointment over the years. Routine visits, illnesses, emergencies, and surgery. Every single time, I have been able to walk away feeling reassured that he is going to be taken care of. I know & trust that everyone is doing everything they can for him and that they go the extra mile to make him comfortable when he is feeling scared.
I am incredibly grateful for everyone at Ballard Animal Hospital who has cared for my dog, and for me over the years. I truly cannot recommend them enough.”

The office is small and personal but be aware that there are not separate entrances or waiting areas for cats and dogs which may not work for your pet. I plan to keep returning though!”
“My dog had a bump on her arm that she wouldn’t stop licking. We were concerned it could be something bad as it was bulging and got pretty large. We went in and Conrad was great at explaining what it was, how to take care of it and what to do if it comes back. I see why this vet has great reviews, the price was competitive and the staff was great.”

“After 14 years with a previous Vet in the area, I switched to Hawthorn Hills Veterinary Hospital. We had our first visit this week and I was very impressed with the practice, the amount of time they spent with my dog Maya, and the effort they took to ensure Maya experienced zero anxiety during the visit. Dr.Chou’s exam was very thorough and she explained everything that she was doing.
My previous Vet would always take my dogs to a separate room for immunizations, blood draws, etc. and I always wondered why they couldn’t just do it in the exam room. It made me think that the procedures were causing my dog discomfort. With Dr. Chou and team everything was done in my presence. It gave me the sense that Maya was in very good hands.
I’m especially grateful that Dr. Chou alerted me to a potentially dangerous health condition from a medication that Maya was on. My previous Vet had known about a disturbing trend in Maya’s BP for at least a year and never expressed any concern. Dr. Chou clearly articulated the issue and her concern and presented me with options to lower that risk.”

“They completely saved my two-year-old cat’s life. For over a year, she struggled with a severe, drug-resistant nasal infection. Despite spending tens of thousands of dollars on diagnostics and treatments with little success, therapeutic laser therapy was our last-ditch effort. After just a few sessions, her improvement has been incredible, she has visibly less facial inflammation and significantly reduced mucus. While this treatment might not work for every cat, her calm temperament allowed us to try it, and it made all the difference.”
“Get there early, I mean around 4:30am -5am. you'll be standing in line for approximately 4 hours, but when you consider the fact that your family pet will be getting FREE healthcare, even surgery if needed, it's an easy trade-off I wouldn't second guess... Ever! Bring a chair, something to drink & maybe snacks, a book & a fully charged phone. Great service & care by staff.”
“I can’t not thank Dr. Dan enough for helping my bunnies. He has treated both my bunnies and he is just amazing! Both time I was so worried for my bunnies and both time Dr. Dan was perfect. He makes sure that you stay calm and he informs you of everything! Even when things sound scary or alarming He walks you through everything and answers all of your questions. Both my bunnies are doing amazing and it all thanks to them. Over all I’m so grateful for everything he’s done for my bunnies. Bring your bunnies to Dr. Dan i promise you won’t regret it. “Was nervous to get my 19 month old sighthound spayed, but the staff was so reassuring and friendly and thorough. Dr. Blouin performed an OVE without incident and my girl healed quickly, showing no sign of discomfort. I did follow the med schedule to completion. They called the day after to check in which was really great and made it clear that they are available should any issue arise. They also charged me less than the estimate which was a pleasant surprise. That never happens these days! Highly recommend!”
