We think the customer service at this Walgreens, particularly the pharmacy customer service, is top notch. To a person, the staff are caring and helpful. They have giving us wonderful service, even phone calls to see how we are doing on a new medicine, but also we have seen them speak tenderly to vulnerable people who are having difficulty describing what they need. They exhibit the best customer service that we have experienced anywhere in over 50 years of frequenting pharmacies. We appreciate you Wallgreens at 1531 Broadway! Happy Customers.

The pharmacist Jenny is extremely rude! I told her she could be nicer and she replied have a fabulous day and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend this pharmacy.

Most expensive, least helpful pharmacy I’ve ever been forced to use. My doctor wrote a prescription, Walgreens chose not to fill it because it was “too similar” to another medication that I can no longer take, so my doctor RE-WROTE the prescription with directions to fill immediately. I called to confirm and they said to stop by “in a couple hours.” When I stopped in 2 hours later, they were on a half hour lunch break. After their lunch break, and waiting in a line that had formed while I was sitting, they told me they still couldn’t fill the prescription until they called my doctor. So I said, “Call him please.” They took their time doing so, and I am still waiting for the actual medication to be counted and put in a bottle. Meanwhile I’m on a tight schedule (need to be across town in ~30 minutes) that, when told, they could clearly not give any fewer fcks about.

I’m writing this review based on a phone conversation with a pharmacist here. I was in a jam, traveling shortly and feeling frustrated because an online pharmacy hadn’t delivered meds in time for the trip. The pharmacist I spoke with at Walgreens quickly calmed me down, helping me understand how we could transfer the prescription there and get it filled. It took her all of ten or fifteen minutes, and this included adding my profile to her system. She was wonderfully professional, not to mention kind. Thanks to the team here. I’m sure I’ll be back.

DO NOT FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE! Been waiting multiple days to get a prescription, and conveniently there is always a 30-45 minute line, or you'll walk to the store and find out the pharmacy is not opening for a extended period of time/at all unannounced.

This place is close to my home in Capitol Hill. This is where I pick up my prescriptions. Always had a smooth experience here. Only thing is that, there is designated parking at this location. You will have to find street parking.

When you pick up your prescription, you can sometimes wait quite a long time. It can take up to 30 minutes. That happened to me once. But what I find unacceptable is that there is no access to the bathroom. This is absolutely unacceptable. I will look for another pharmacy that is more fair to the customer. If you have some kind of physical problems, you don't want to wait at Walgreens.

This is both the worst pharmacy AND the worst Walgreens in Seattle. Go anywhere else. They have the rudest, most condescending staff I have ever encountered. They will also lie and say that a new law prohibits them from accepting telehealth prescriptions, although the change in law never took effect. They never fill scripts when they come in, only when you show up or call. Everything is an enormous pain and a long wait. If Walgreens doesn’t want to operate a pharmacy, then don’t…

Nice workers here, shame that whatever their managers or corporate are making them makes using their store and pharmacy worthless

The pharmacists are seriously the kindest, most patient workers imaginable. Thanks for all your hard work!

I've been getting a prescription filled at Walgreens for years by the same provider and suddenly they decide they won't fill it anymore because my doctor is out of state (it was fine for 4 years out of state before this month), even though I have a history getting this same prescription filled by this same psychiatrist in state before I moved here. These pharmacists don't care that you can't just come off this medication and not having it can literally ruin someone's life, I cannot work without it.Never shopping at Walgreens again.

Went inside the store as I usually do to add cash to my cash app and PayPal accounts. An every week process at this store. For some reason the tall African American manager had an issue with knowing how to process the transaction. He got very upset when I asked the clerk to take over because she knew how handle the process in a quick and efficient manner. He then continued to make the situation worse by claiming that he was only doing one transaction because he didn’t know what he was doing or had the time to learn. For certain amounts on cash transactions you need a managers approval, and that’s all he was needed for. The clerk tried to resolve this to no avail and I had to go to another Walgreens to get the business done which was a very easy process. Please stay far away from this location because the customer service is horrible from this guy. Everyone else working is great but you never know when he’s scheduled to work so I recommend staying away.

Echoing all of the other poor reviews. I understand places are short staffed but there's no reason for the employees to treat customers the way they do. I've stopped going here to get my prescriptions. They close for longer than I feel like they say online, sometimes i'll come at 3pm and the pharmacy has just decided to be closed so i have to come back another day.. so inconvenient and they really couldn't care less. Also, i just stopped asking questions because every. single. time. the person said "idk". Is it not your job to know if u sell stamps..?

This place is a complete disaster. Not once have I ever been able to just walk in, grab my prescription and be on my way. It’s always some kind of fiasco. The people working are always rude and unhelpful. Avoid this place at all costs.
