By far one of the most respectful shopping experiences I have had in Seattle period. It’s nice to not be treated like a thief off the jump. Makes me spend my money here over most places. Thanks neighborhood Walgreens

Walgreens is always great. Sometimes the lines are long for the pharmacy. However, the staff always gets through the lines. Very promptly. I was behind about 9 people the last time I went in and it only took about 12 minutes to get to me.

Pharmacy staff are nice and prescription wait times aren't bad. I wish security didn't treat everyone like they're stealing though.

I am disabled and it is hard for me to get around. Walgreens idea of "shipping" is having someone from Doordash come pick it up and deliver it, which is 1. Not stated on the site, and 2. Not efficient as they have to rely on someone to come volunteer to do it. I placed my order for shipped meds, which I thought was going to be via FedEx a week prior, and was given 0 updates. I talked to multiple people on the phone, all of whom said multiple different things, two of whom had terrible attitudes and offered zero apologies for the delay, while I'm detoxing off of meds that should have been here already. It's a lot of "well I didn't cause the issue so ? ". Training doesn't seem to be a priority. When you tell someone you are "canceling their order" but what you mean is you are "canceling the shipping request", say that. Canceling an order means something entirely different, and leads a customer to believe you are canceling their entire prescription order. I thought bartells after rite aids take over was bad, but this is just pure chaos. Moving pharmacies. Blech.

The Walgreens location is actually a nice little small convenience in the area I think and had some very helpful employees during our visit. The location is very close to the Space Needle and hotels making it a convenient walk if you are in the area. The location is in what appears to be a former bank location so I guess you are getting a very secure experience! The store had everything we needed and was easy to run in to grab everything. I didn't realize that getting a plastic bag came with a charge in Seattle but we only needed one so fortunately we didn't end up paying a bunch of money for what we needed overall.

Pharmacy is slowest service EVER. I don’t think it is the staff’s fault as the amount of info they need to type in their terminals is insane. It doesn’t have to be that complicated. Costco has it down. 25+ minutes with 2 people in line ahead of me and two people at the register. Crazy. Last time waiting here.

They are very disrespectful to their customers, especially to myself as disabled person. Whenever I fill up my medications, there is always some arbitrary issue on their end, and they are very curt and cut you off on the phone (which they REQUIRE me to call to push my refills 80% of the time) no matter how patient and polite I am (I'm not from Seattle, and I am EXCESSIVELY polite for this area), I get cut off and hung up on in less than a minute call after 30-45 min on hold. I often have to have bother my prescriber to call them on my behalf with me on the line, and suddenly there are no refill issues when he's there. They also make quips EVERY TIME about the sheer volume of medications I need to take, humiliating me for being disabled and DARING to not die. Last time I was there, I also had to get a supplement--again, necessary to keep me alive as a disabled person, and when I was there last and requested help with the locked case, the associate loudly complained about helping me, and I pathetically apologized and ended up leaving the store in tears. I also deal with severe social anxiety, and on top of feeling like security is personally escorting me around the store has made getting my medications a very stressful and traumatic experience, and I have delayed picking up multiple times due to panic attacks about being berated for no reason. The regular cashiers are generally kind, but the pharmacists are awful. I am not holding them unfairly responsible for shortages and understaffing--they have just been openly hostile to me. With most of the other pharmacies in the area closing this winter, this location will likely get worse and worse. It does not matter how respectful you are. In fact, don't make my mistakes--be curt and demanding if you want to be taken seriously. Kindness only gives them room to push you over. And please, fellow disabled folks: Avoid At All Costs. You deserve better than to be treated with hostility for staying alive.

The worse pharmacy in Belltown. I never review anything and try to give everyone a fair shot, but this place managed to treat me like garbage both times I tried their pharmacy -- six years apart no less! Like most people in Seattle, my beloved Bartell Drugs closed on me. I blame Ride Aid who bought all Bartell locations, just to close most of them in a couple years. Anyway, my prescriptions were forward to Walgreens without my knowledge. First I tried the downtown 3rd Avenue location, the pharmacy staff was nice, but that location is horrendous, the neighborhood is like The Walking Dead. So then I tried this Denny Street location... I get there at 5PM and the pharmacy was closed for the day. Next day, I call and call, each time their answering machine tells you to wait, they even tell you your place in line, give you a countdown till you're next, then nobody ever answers. Their App is equally worthless. So then I go there and wait in line for 30 minutes, all that to have some inconsiderate and obnoxious pharmacist tell they can't fill your prescription for a week! They need to confirm something with my doctor. Sure, who cares what the doctors and cancer specialist prescribed? The genius pharmacist has issues with the prescription. And no, the prescription was not even for an opiate. Cute stuff coming from Walgreens who made billions from illegally selling pain meds to junkies and dealers in the last 20 years. I, of course, told them to keep the rest of my meds and that I'll never be back. I got home and transferred all my prescriptions to Amazon Pharmacy, they will have them at my doorstep the next day, for cheaper. Thankfully, I will never have to step one foot in a Walgreens again.

The pharmacy is great. Staff is extremely professional and explains everything really well. They provide text message updates when your prescription is available for pickup, which is extremely convenient and helpful. Prescriptions are also ready pretty quickly, unlike the nearby Bartell's which never had it ready until I'd badger them.
