Venue was okay, but whoever was doing the alcohol had to bring over 3 people to look at my real ID and caused me to miss most of the openers set because they didn’t know how to check IDs.

Amazing venue to see shows at! Saw BTSM here and it was an incredible experience. 4 bathrooms was nice and a concession area to be able to take a break if needed. The back bar area is a nice touch to get away for a second and still see the show.

I’ve been to this place many times. I like the venue, but I’ve had some bad experiences.1- I dropped a sealed medication on the floor - it didn’t look like anything illegal, I brought it in without any issues - and when I tried getting it from the floor, a security stepped on it and yelled at me to move and leave. Like what? My only reaction was a loud laugh cause dude was really feeling so powerful and couldn’t see how pathetic he was actually being.2- we left a brand new sweatshirt at coatcheck just to never see it again.Bonus - not really the venue’s fault, but a valid warning to whoever is going there: we parked in the parking lot right across the street, and came back to broken windows.

Wanted so badly to love this venue, love the size of it, love the sound and stage quality, but they wouldn’t let hydro packs or Fanny packs into the rave. People at raves need water more than ever to keep them safe. Staff understood how stupid the rule was but had to comply anyway. Saw so many people dying of dehydration on the floor, could’ve easily been prevented. Do better you guys, I know you can!

This may have been a different location, but Showbox continues to provide a level of service that makes everything go smoothly. The concert-goers can attend knowing they can focus entirely on the show and not worry about any peripherals. Also, BTSM went insanely hard

Since Deadbeats Seattle 2018 I've had countless incredible show experiences here. Production value is definitely up there. Food is mediocre but also better than nothing.

I've had the opportunity to be behind the scenes. And in the audience and it's an amazing place. Great. I've been YouTube experience, home and garden shows. Or concerts, all type of events gone there. It's a really nice Facility

Event was well organized, and the staff was helpful. I'm recovering from a tore achilles so I get fatigued after standing and walking for long periods of time. They had seats available and multiple bar areas so I didn't miss out on the event.

This venue has gotten a lot better over the years. I went to BOO the Halloween event and was very happy with my experience. The staff was all nice AND attentive to the patrons. Everyone was looking out for each other and I didn't see and strong handed security guards. The stages were set up in a way to lower "noise bleed." All in all I am happy with the venue, staff and production at WaMU.The worst part of coming here is the CLEAR BAG POLICY! be aware of that before packing all your things into your normal backpack. There are sellers outside the door selling clear bags if you forget.

Hands down, the BEST Fing experience I've EVER had. Boo seattle was my first time festival for me and my best friend. She flew all the way from Oahu Hawaii, because of the sick line up. It was life alternating in the best way possible. A

Flat floor, so terrible site lines for concerts. I'm over 6ft and it was hard to see. Acoustics aren't great - can be pretty shrill with the huge concrete floor, metal rafters, and thin curtains. Parking is expensive and not many options. In general, a very soulless bland venue that sometimes has an artist you just gotta see.
