I love being a member of the WaWF. I joined a few years ago thanks to a friend's recommendation and have been a super fan ever since. The foundation focuses on Trust Based Philanthropy and unrestricted giving to grantees, both of which are very important to me. But the real magic is the community of bright, fascinating, hard working women who give as a part of this collective that is nearly 30 years old. This is a rare multigenerational culture that offers opportunities to make real impact in the community, meet new friends and learn in a guilt free environment. I'm able to participate as much or as little as is right for me depending on what's happening in my life. Members do what they commit to and don't commit when they don't have capacity. When I can't give time, I know that my money is still making important change in the world. Highly recommend for prospective nonprofit grantees and for potential members.
