The food here is amazing - their loco moco is a unique spin on the original dish and was best served with a side of kimchi. Small place so reservations are probably advised for brunch.

Wasted $40 on a meal I couldn't eat.I ordered the poutine. Waiter said it came with kimchi. Both were too salty to finish. And they charged extra $7 for the kimchi.I want my money back.

You will be hard-pressed to find a place in Seattle with both a coffee AND a food program that are equally incredible. This might be my favorite spot in this city, and if you haven't been here you're missing out. The chicken sandwich might be the best in town, and you can't find a single thing on the menu that isn't excellent. Get a reservation for weekend brunch, or just stop by and get a coffee to-go. Be warned: once you go here, you won't be able to stop.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Get the mushroom Eggs Benedict!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options

coffee is really good. fruity pebble french toast tastes more like bread that has fruity pebbles inside... its pretty dry and thick.. not much french in the french toast. kbbq pork plate has too much fat compared to meat, and the cabbage kimchi was really salty rather than sour/spicy? I really liked the radish and apple kimchi though. the ssamjang sauce was also tasty too.i have mixed feelings about the things i ate but the service was good and im actually curious to go back and try more dishes.

I’ve had the loco loco meal and the breakfast sando here in my two visits so far. Both delicious! They make a great London fog as well. Kind staff and an easy going

10/10. Undoubtedly the best coffee in Ballard, and probably the city as a whole. Food is great. Service is immaculate. Folks are kind and caring.Loco Moco is my fav dish. Fried chicken sandwich is a great #2. Eggs Benny and k poutine are also baller. You really can't go wrong.Reservations are needed mid mornings on the weekends, can probably go without a reservation during the week or at open on the weekends.Fair warning they include 18% gratuity automatically on the bill (which I don't mind as it's great service and well earned)

I’ve tried to order from here 3 times but can never justify the price, plus the added gratuity. That’s a lot for a coffee and a piece of toast. If it’s going to be that expensive, sell me on it. Are your toasts dipped in gold? Are your coffee beans hand picked from the rainforest? Being forced to tip before I even walk in the door, catch a vibe, or taste my food is a no from me.

I got the chicken and waffle with gochujang sauce and an orangey mocha. The mocha was pleasant to drink. It was soothing all with a hint of orange that wasn't overpowering. While the chicken and waffle was delicious, I will say it was difficult to eat without getting my hands messy since you are given chicken wings. Otherwise the sauce was a great combination with the waffle and chicken.

Amazing service, super friendly! Food was exceptional! A little on the pricy side but worth every penny.

Don't know why it took me so long to try this place! I got the breakfast sando w/mushrooms and it's one of the best things I've had in a long time -- a well-seasoned mix of savory goodness. The coffee was fantastic too, bold & clean. If I had to quibble about anything, although the service was friendly & attentive, the overall atmosphere is a little lacking in warmth. Plants, music, warm colors? Could use a little more coziness, IMO. That said, excited to bring the whole family here.

I've loved this place since their og location and I'm so glad they have a bigger space.Everything I've tried has been great and I've taken everyone I know and I've yet to see anyone be disappointed by their food.My only complaint is that I can't get Pork belly sandwich on weekends, because if I could I'd probably just live off of that every weekend.

Food is delicious, the staff were outstanding and the place felt nice. The Loco moco wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it was still delicious in its own way. It worked well with the fusion style of the Cafe and the kimchi was phenomenal.

It's nice because they have a coffee bar section and dine in area. I had the pork belly eggs Benny which was a fresh spin on a classic dish. Gratuity is included so account for that before you go, that being said service was excellentKid-friendliness: I saw a few children while I was dining. no reason I wouldn't bring my kid here.

Horrible!Waited for months for new cafe to open.Took my friend today and 1st thing we were asked if we had reservations which was surprising. Then it got worse. Looked at menu and found nothing on there that sounded good. The waitress came over and gave us water - not cold or a glass oy water with ice.I ordered a cup of chicken and rice soup.Rice in soup was no fully cooked. I asked the person next to me that had the soup if it tasted as tho rice was fully cooked. She said no.When soup was delivered there want a saucer under the cup nor was crackers or aslice of bread offered.I ordered a spire- waitress came with a can of pop unopened. No glass or ice. Had to ask for that….My friends grill cheese was half melted. PlusThe prices were very high for what you got. Then the kicker was when we wanted to pay with our debt card we had to take pic of symbol on bill and jump thru hoops in order to pay our bills. We did not unwanted emails or calls from people wanted our business.I will spread the word to all the friends that have gone there for years and enjoyed their lunch and or desert DO NOT GO THERE FOR LUNCH!
