After being with B of A for the past 20 years, I decided to open an account at Wells Fargo and have been glad I did. The several customer service interactions that I've had at the Madison Park Wells Fargo branch have been very positive. Each person was super friendly, customer service-oriented, and fast and efficient in their transaction. The environment is also open and welcoming.

You are treated like royalty whenever you walk into this WF Bank in Madison Park. The good feeling lasts for days. It restores your connection to humanity. Can't say enough complimentary things.

This is the best bank I have ever dealt with. Their expertise is matched by their kindness and strong commitment to public service. The staff has handled complex problems for me with knowledge and finesse. I am lucky to have this unit as my local branch.

For the life of me I can't figure out why people that review this bank are complaining about parking. Let's start with other banks-Home Street shares their spots with Bert's Red Apple, Key Bank has the public spots in front, Bank of America has the public spots in front as well as the spots around the corner that are shared with two other stores and the rear parking. There are plenty of parking areas behind and to the side of the Wells Fargo bank. Oh my, you may have to walk less than a block to get to Wells Fargo, heaven forbid if the dedicated spots are full!!! All of the other banks have parking with even more distance than Wells so get out and walk and get some exercise. As with all businesses there are also 2 handicapped spots as well at Wells. As for the staff, who ever is complaining about using a bank bathroom try and tell me that you have used a bank bathroom elsewhere. I highly doubt it as many if not all of the bathrooms at banks are for employees as are in a secured area not meant for public use. Claiming or playing the race card is just plain ignorant. All of the staff at Wells have been courteous and professional and if there is a comment about the older versus younger staff members there is a consistent level of professionalism across the board so forget the age bias. Every bank is going to offer you other products that they sell and make money off of. They are a bank, money is their business, not asking you to look at products that may save you money is for you not them so take your egos out of the equation and remember Wells Fargo is a bank and they didn't participate in the sub-prime lending fiasco that all of the major banks did to steal money from the masses and sent our economy into a tailspin. For that reason alone is cause to do business there. Finally, Mackenzie is the Manager and does a great job so my guess is that the problem lies with the commenter NOT the staff. She is always able make time to help her staff and personally takes the time to make sure their operation runs well.

I travel a longer distance just to go to Madison Park Well's Fargo. Their customer service is outstanding. I can't say that for all Well's Fargo but most definitely Madison Park. They're #1!!!

I just had the worst experience at my own bank I deposit money here and I asked to use the bathroom they told me they did not care if i am a customers who banks with them I was told to use the Starbucks across the street I was profiled based on race remind me to never to try and get a loan because the staff of this branch are bigots I think I'll be going to a new bank after this experience I won't tolerate being judged upon via ethnicity and what's worse is not one single minority was working here (ã€ï¾Ÿï¾›ï¾Ÿ)ï½£ Jerks work here I'm beyond upset about it and I'm having a fantastic day except for this next time just put a sign up in your bank that says whites only restroom (¬_¬)ノback to the 60's in less than an hour I couldn't believe it

I agree with Sharon. This is a wonderful branch and have never ever had bad service here...even after they were robbed at gunpoint a few months ago. They still put on a happy face and showed professionalism. The tellers in particular are always really helpful and personal

Ugh. Madison Park has plenty of banks, so I highly recommend going down the street to another one. The female manager, Mackinlie Someone, is without a doubt, the most condescending person one could hope to encounter. I also bank with Bank of American down a few block and have had wonderful service for 25 years. In the two years I've had an account with Wells Fargo it's been nothing but a non-stop sales pitch, ironically paried with the most screwed up flawed servcie you can imagine. AVOID! PS The younger staff is always polite and professional. EDITED TO ADD: On the same day I wrote this negative review the account mysteriousy had a change to the over draft protection exactly opposite of what I had asked for. When I called customer service they had no record of who made the request and the supervisor said it was very suspicious activity because there was no record or signature on file requesting the change. He said in his personal experience that he had been required to sign a form to make that change to his own account. I think there's been a little retaliatory behavior from this branch.

i have no complaints about the personal service from Wells Fargo. Especially from Andy, my personal banker who has consistently gone above and beyond to help me with any issues that I may have. However, when it comes to their investment banking my advice is to run! I lost money on an account that was supposed to be low risk in a 18 month period of time where the market has gone way up. On top of that I had instructed all the dividends to be re-invested so they were lost as well over $5,000. of the principal. I was told that there would be a 1.5 % management fee, which was fine, but when I looked at statements there appeared to be numerous hidden charges. In addition the statements are not easy to read. Much more complicated than other accounts that I oversee. Long and short of it, if you can get a good personal banker, like Andy, I would imagine you would be happy with the customer service, but I would leave investments somewhere else.

Negative five stars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK. They scam you for overdraft fees. It's like getting shoved down the subway stairs and mugged. Wells Fargo's standard operating procedure is to MOVE transactions from the date they actually occurred - and may already have posted - in order to line things up so that they can steal the maximal number of overdraft fees. Lots of banks process a string of small things (parking, five bucks for a sandwich, like that) last on any given day, so that each racks up a fee if they're the transactions that push you into overdraft. This is regardless of in what order the transactions actually occurred. Well Fargo is WORSE. They not only do the above - they move previously posted transactions from earlier dates in order to perform this scam! You wake up, check your balance, and see things are fine. At lunch, you check again, and a flurry of smaller transactions from earlier in the week will have been juggled around to FOLLOW a single larger transaction that overdrew your account. In other words - you would have been overdrawn that day anyway. You had, say, fifty bucks in the bank. An auto deduction for, say, $65, hits. This single transaction woud have overdrawn your account anyway. But not content with that $35 fee, Wells Fargo RE-ORDERS previously posted transactions (very previously - like, the early part of the prior WEEK) so that they appear to have hit *after* the larger deduction that overdrew you. And they collect a $35 fee on each on. When you call to complain, they fob you off with a convoluted explanation that boils down to "any time a store or website or service doesn't allow you to SPECIFY that a transaction is debit or credit, we may process it as a credit - meaning that we can decide the DATE of the transaction, thus reordering it to follow other transactions in an order best calculated to incur the MAXIMUM number of overdraft fees." Never mind that if the store doesn't let you specify, you are SCROD. Never mind that this is woefully, grossly, unfair. It's just what they do. It's obscene. It really is. Stay far away from these *(*#^!@%@#*(# predators - even if you're rich. Two things: 1) The ad campaign they are running now - with folksy music and pretty-young-bankery-things purring at you about how Wells Fargo is "there when you need us" and "America's largest community bank" - is total, utter, complete, and overweening ROT. They are the ANTITHESIS of "community bank," and ought to be prohibited - by law - from claiming to be a community bank in their advertising. 2) I recently complained to the BBB about the overdraft fees they'd levied, and got two of them (that's SEVENTY bucks, folks) refunded. I don't know what that says. That they're cavalierly rapacious and know it? That they listen? That I lucked out? Whatever, I ought not to have HAD to complain about this. Gah!

Someone needs to figure out the parking situation at this location... 6 coveted parking spots. Is there some unwritten Madison Park rule that if you have errands to run and don't feel like looking for parking, head over to your local Wells Fargo and feel free to park while you shop? All the parking spots were taken AGAIN today and to top it all, someone's Lexus was parked in the exit lane to get out of the parking lot. Was there a crowd of customers inside the bank? HELL NO! Was it a beautiful day to be out? of course. Geez...
