Great staff that is always ready to help. Long lines, at times, but it's the only close WF branch that is full service.

Im just curious as to why do they go into the bank at 10pm Friday October 15th, 2021...ten o'clock at night to vacuum and take out the trash...sure hope they are not trying to break the camera system or rig it in order for someone to get away with a crime! If something bad happens near to this area tonight and cant get camera footage then the persons, a man and woman entered probably have got something to do with it.

A bank isn't exactly a place I'd normally review for sure. Credit has to be given where it's due, however. The bank is amongst the list of places I don't really care to go to if I can help it. The bank of course joins the same list as the hospital, court, DMV, post office and other places you don't really frequent, but when you do again, you're not exactly smiling ear to ear. Here at this Wells Fargo though, as soon as I walk in, they always greet me. Every time. Even if there is a line, one of the tellers assures me they'll be right with me. They don't even have to do that but it's nice. When I get to the window, the tellers, are all friendly and helpful. I've dealt with three different tellers and each time they're patient and thorough with my business.I've only been a Wells Fargo a short time and don't know if they're changing their business strategy, but this particular branch is pretty good with their customer service.

Love this bank!!! This is the second time my partner and I have been there and we have received exceptional service each time. We had the pleasure to meet with the manager David Nguyen and he was incredible. He was so kind, patient , Knowledgeable and really fun to talk to. He definitely makes excellent customer service a priority and you can just tell he is passionate about his job. We had to set up a new bank acct and he made it such a pleasant n fun experience. Teller who first helped us when we arrived was also so kind and helpful. We are happy that this will be one of our major banks we go to and we highly recommend this neighborhood bank.

I'm not a member of Wells Fargo but I came in and still had great service. Richard helped me with some bonds I had and was in a great mood and great to work with. Would recommend.

Super helpful bank! Stopped by because my wallet got stolen. In under in hour, Liam had cancelled my card, gave me the details where the thief had tried to recently use it, set me up with a temporary card, and ordered me a new one. He also offered to help walk me through some ideas in preparing my savings accounts. Gave me a detailed outline of our meeting and made great personal connections. Very thankful for the service here!

I am an executive officer at a non-profit that operates a small business. I can honestly say that this is the worst experience I have ever had with any financial institution. Every single interaction beyond a simple deposit at the teller window has been a nightmare fraught with errors and incompetence. When I ordered a secured credit card, they sent me a debit card. When called to speak with the manager, they say they don't know his extension. i am the only woman from my organization they have ever had to deal with. It has not escaped my attention that tasks are accomplished in one short visit by the men, but when I submitted the exact same paperwork for the same task, they questioned it and deemed it unacceptable. After 8 months and 4 visits of trying to subit proof that am a chief executive officer, they are still not convinced, but they have no trouble understanding it when my male colleagues come in with the exact same piece of paper. All this while they are trying to sell us on moving investments that are kept elsewhere. Are they dreaming? The ONLY good thing about this bank is its location and that stopped being worthwhile a long time ago. I have recommended moving our money to our board.

TJ and his team provided above and beyond service. They were knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. I really appreciated this experience as going to the bank isn't always most fun. Thank you!

Reviewing a bank, I must be hard up to make my case for next year's Elite standing... I've banked at Wells Fargo since 1990 (according to my debit card), This branch is conveniently located between my bus stop and where I live, so when I need to go into a branch, this is my go-to. Pros: tellers and bankers are friendly. Employees aren't hiding behind thick bullet proof glass like in most of the other banks in the area. The line typically moves quick here too. Personally the ATM works everytime I use it. I mainly use it for deposits because it's 2018 and who the hell carries cash? Oh that's right--you idiot millenials who don't believe in building credit and think you're entitled to everything without trying. Wanted to give a special shout out to branch manager David. He went out of his way to help me correct a mistake that another WF employee made. His customer service skills are absolutely top notch.

I have to echo the recent reviews. Coming here is just a pain but it shouldn't be. Having a Wells account for 2 decades. This has to be one of the worst. I have written good things about other Wells but this one is rough. ATM works some days while others it doesn't, especially frustrating if you don't get off work in time to go inside but when you do it's a real crap shoot. I want to say his name is Frederico is really nice and so is Lauren the teller manager. Then there is one people have been complaining about Amanda who is flat out the worst customer service wise teller I've ever seen in 2 decades of banking with Wells Fargo. This is suppose to be the Ballard Wells Fargo community bank and I think it's a massive failure compared to so many other Wells in other neighborhoods that are good.

I'd have to say this is the worst Wells Fargo I have ever used. My husband and I have had a Wells Account for years. Avoid Amanda the teller supervisor or lead with the terrible attitude and lacks people skills. Rude is an under statement. Every time we have come in there's one issue or another. Extra fees, no manager around or the ATM is always broken. Being one of the victims of the Wells fraud issues of extra accounts I didn't know was open and extra fees you'd think a go PR move would be to treat people better and back off the fees but nope. SMH

Like ok what's wrong with this place. So many things. The ATM is totally inconsistent it feels like every week it's not working. Then like when you go inside teller Amanda has like such a bad attitude. Comes across rude and feels like she taking down to you. Like the suits at the tables are so damn lazy. Help the line or at least be civil when it's busy. Like man it's totally frustrating using this bank. Like why is it at other Wells the suits a the tables are so much more helpful. So like Laura or Lauren or something like that is the only positive compliment o can give about Wells in Ballard. Such a drag but go to the Wells in the Safeway 30 blocks is so much better.

Nice people but nearly every transaction I make with them involves some technical error. Once they "forgot" to push through an international wire and I had to call in after 5 or more days and then wait an additional 5 days for the money to go through. I have wired money from there twice (and never will again) and both times they took over half an hour to do the transaction. My other bank takes less than 5 minutes. I have a safe deposit box at this Ballard location. They do not allow me to pay online or over the phone so I had to go physically into the branch to pay, which I did this week. Now the transaction has not been recorded. I tried to call the branch and got tossed around to call centers in Virginia and Arizona (of course waiting on hold each time first), each asking my extremely private personal financial details, only for each to tell me they have nothing to do with the situation. I guess I have to drive two hours back to the bank to get them to correct this problem. Like I said, nice people but I question the competence level.

After using the ATM and paying a hefty fee, I went inside to convert the money into one dollar gold coin's for a fundraiser I was doing in the afternoon. I was greeted politely, and then told that they would not convert it into a roll of coins for me, noting it's their new policy to not help non-customers of the bank, after asking me for my ATM and where I bank. Lucky me, the policy started three weeks ago. Did they really think I was going to switch banks based on how they were treating me. I left them a few years ago based upon what I consider to be "their schemes". They're not too big to fail, they're too big to be successful... I sense that the ship is sinking, and my hope is that Wells Fargo Will go out of business soon. They just don't get it... Given that Wells Fargo has a hideous reputation for ripping off its customers, and I had previously had nine accounts with them and have been charged fees without my knowledge, I find it atrocious that they would look for other ways to be seen in a bad light. This is not a friendly community bank, this is an outcrop of the greedy banks.... they do not care about us, or customer service, or building Goodwill in the community. If they don't make money off of you, they will not provide even the most basic service that would've taken 30 seconds. I left discussed, noting that I would never come into that branch again. And if it just happened to ever come up, I would tell people to stay away from that branch. Time for these banks to realize, if you treat people like crap they won't return.
