If you are a customer, need to use the bathroom, get ready to be humiliated. I had to pee bad, I am from out of town. Was told no at first, when I started crying was still told no. I was hurting, was not able to hold much longer. Was told I had to go to Pikes Market a few blocks away. Now very humiliated and needing to go, and hysterical ann after associate walked me to where bathrooms was. Once again told no by manager. Again started crying, now really hurting, fearing the worse. She stated ok, go, stated something in another language very angerly to the associate. I offered my DL. I very well dressed, obviously not homeless, but let's humiliated our customers. I just made it. I do not get it how people can be so cruel.

This review is for the actual store not the Pharmacy which I hear is a nightmare. The Shelves in the store are half empty. We asked if the store was closing and was told "No why do you ask that???" uh... because there are so many empty shelves. The people at the check out are usually nice so one extra star for that. STOCK the shelves.

I dont understand what is happening at this pharmacy. I never write reviews, but this place is just out of control. The people have been nice, and Im guessing they are understaffed and overworked because they look absolutely miserable and never crack a smile. I also admit to being a layperson, so I dont know what they are doing, but they stand there tapping away at their screens looking miserable and not saying anything FOREVER! Like could you please say what you are doing, or what is happening? Like ok, it will take me a few minutes to get to something, or, or I dont know! Why is the computer so slow, WHAT ARE YOU DOIng? The prescription line will say a medication/Rx is recieved and available, but it is not when I get there. Ive asked a few times for my vaccination log, which should be available at any pharmacy and they dont know how to access it. Last time, he said he would figure it out and get in touch. Nada, again. Just spent 40 minutes on hold. WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THE PHONE THAT TAKES 40 MINUTES FOR ONE PERSON?! The line tells you there is one person ahead. Two stars because they are nice enough but only two stars because the department appears to be a hot mess otherwise. Im sorry to the workers there if its not your fault. Management- get a hold of things!

The wait at the Pharmacy was close to a half hour today. When I got to the window the Pharmacist told me my Rx would be ready in an hour. I came back in an hour and the line was even longer. Staff at the register told me Walgreens had closed several local Pharmacy's and they were backed up. I tried calling the Pharmacy to preempt standing in line again. No answer while on hold for half an hour. Staff in the store was unable to help. Walgreens might like their new profit margins but they won't include my prescriptions. I used the time in line to move my prescriptions to another non-Walgreens Pharmacy. You should too. No thank you understaffed over subscribed Walgreens.

Waited 2 hours to talk to a pharmacist. On an average day, you wait 45 minutes + to receive your prescription.

When Bartells closed on Queen Anne (where I had been going for 10+ years I moved to the one on Broadway. The pharmacy sucked and then they closed after a month with no warning. So since the Walgreens on 15th is closest to me. I have NEVER had a good experience with the pharmacy there. I don't know what I was thinking. Of course they're closed today but I'll go in tomorrow, pick up whatever they've managed to get ready and then transfer to Safeway on 22nd. This pharmacy has to be the worst in town. I don't know why.

I submitted documents to get printed however never got an update 4 hours after the "estimated" pick up date. Went over in person, workers are not properly trained with their products or customer service. I waited and I do not know why it took over 30 mins for them to print 3 documents. They stood in silence trying to figure it out. Unwelcoming. They also helped and printed out another lady's order that came after me. They also had trouble finding and helping her out as well. Doubling my waiting time.

Pharmacy will give you the runaround after making you wait for an hour, then tell you they are out of the prescription, then tell you they will transfer it, just have another pharmacy call them, then not answer the phone calls from the other pharmacy, then when you return, they will make you wait another hour before they will transfer the prescription to an actually functioning pharmacy.

I have been going here for 15 years as it has parking. Service has really gone downhill. Repeated problems with getting refills. Website gives me a date and time for pickup, only to be told they need to order the medication when I drive up there to get them. This has happened repeatedly. And these are ordinary medications that they seem to be always out of stock. Sometimes the pharmacy is simply not even open even though I have had a notice to pick up my medications. Warning to Medley pharmacy transfers--avoid like the plague! I miss the old friendly folks, but it has become frustrating every time I go there. Broadway Walgreens is much better as is Safeway on 23rd. The pandemic has not affected these alternative pharmacies.

I'm giving 5 stars because of two exceptional staff at Walgreens on Capitol Hill. Alex always greets me when I enter and is a joy to talk with during check out. Matt is an exceptional employee in Photos. He has helped me with several projects ands goes out of his way to make the projects be successful. I appreciate his wisdom and kindness. Walgreens is fortunate to have Alex and Matt on staff!

The pharmacy here just ignores online refill requests. One has to show up physically in the store to get their attention to refill orders. Actually getting the medicine then requires either a long wait or a return trip. This store is absolutely ridiculous.

Wish I could leave a 0 star review. Their pharmacy is awful. The employees are rude and leave the counter when they can no longer assist. For example, I called 2 days in advance to make sure my prescription was filled, they said it was. I went in today and was told it would take 45 minutes to be filled because they hadn't even started yet. I told her I called 2 days ago and was told it was ready. She proceeded to say "well it's not done" and immediately walked away from the counter, waiting for me to leave. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Extremely unprofessional and potentially very dangerous for those in extreme last minute need of their medication. I suggest picking up your prescription elsewhere.

Very unresponsive pharmacy. The automated system doesn't work, and when you finally get into the queue for a pharmacist no one picks up while the automated voice thanks you for waiting every 15 seconds.

Horrible experience with the pharmacy. Staff was incompetent and unorganized -- wait time became 1+ hr with no designated waiting space. At the end they tried sending me off without one of the vaccines I had registered for, and were extremely rude and unprofessional when they had to correct their own mistakes. Please go anywhere else for your vaccinations.

I would give this Walgreens zero stars if I could. Usually grimy, shelves often empty though I have to imagine the pandemic has caused some of that. But by far, the worst part of this store is the pharmacy. Ignore the signage that says it closes at 6pm. I got there at 5:30 and apparently one of the pharmacists had said they weren't helping anyone else today before I'd even got there. Stood in line for 20 minutes for nothing and there was zero signage to say that they weren't allowing pickups or anything for the rest of the day. The only reason I found out was one of the other customers said something to those of us in queue and someone else had to ask the pharmacy staff for confirmation so we could know whether we should just leave or wait. Not even to try to push to get our Rx or anything. Literally just to know what the deal was because their announcement happened before any of us got there so we had no idea we'd queued up for nothing as there was no indication they were closed. Don't look at this as an exception. That's just a normal day at this pharmacy. Rx can take weeks to fill no matter what it is, their Rx notification system doesn't work. The app doesn't seem to be reliable either. Basically, the only way you can get any info on if your Rx even got to the pharmacy is show up in-person. I could not tell you why this store is so bad, but with several pharmacies just a few blocks from this one, don't make the mistake I did of assuming the low ratings were people complaining about nothing. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever used and I gave it a good college try for a year thinking maybe they were just in a funk. No, it's just that bad. Don't go here.
