This is my regular store. It's always fine, the staff are always friendly and helpful enough. I wish the pharmacy didn't close for lunch breaks. Oh well This message is mostly about the pot holes forming in the parking lot. As I was leaving today my cart went into a ditch and flipped forward, spilling all my groceries and banging up my shins. If I was old I could have been injured.

This is my local Safeway. It's a block or two from my apartment, so I'm in there a lot. Tonight as I was leaving the store I said thank you to the employee working the self checkout. Maybe it was dumb but I always try and be nice because I used to work in a grocery store, and I know it's not an easy job. As I was leaving, I heard the employee and a security guard laughing at me, making fun of me saying thank you, and one of them said "He's in here all the time" and laughing. What a bummer man

No way this Safeway is only 3 stars. I've been coming here for years. The employees have always been kind. The flowers are beautiful to look at and purchase when I need. The pharmacist (which I go often) and doing what they should be, at times I truly feel more than taken cared - thank you.

Deli department delivered big time. We ordered 2 sandwich trays and two fruit trays. They were ready when we arrived, attractively arranged, fresh and HUGE! We would definitely use this deli for trays again.

Thank you for having a clean store to include public restrooms. I frequent Safeway to grab a healthy lunch or snack and being able to wash my hands in a clean environment is important to me. Safeway employees are courteous and thoughtful and work hard to ensure my health and diet.

Safeway needs to protect their customers, neighborhood, and employees. The parking lot and 16th has constant drug trafficking, tweaked out addicts, homeless, people shooting up, prostitution, and theft. They are loosing 1000 a day in theft but they still don't have security. Safeway Corporate needs to set up tower cameras in the parking lot and cameras all around the building and especially on 16th. They need to hire a police officer to guard the front door and only leave one door open. Then advocate for a time limited parking on 16th. Safeway is allowing these issues to happen and need to be part of the solution. Most of the neighborhood isn't going to use Safeway any longer because of it.

This review is for their pharmacy. There are 2 Asian women there who have the worst manners (by the way I am an immigrant member of an ethnic minority myself). When I complained to the pharmacy manager, he said "there is nothing wrong with my employees" and then hung up on me. If you have to deal with anyone at this pharmacy, ask for Austin who has great customer service. Better yet, go to a different pharmacy like Fred Meyer on Lake City Way NE. They have really good customer service there.

This is the Safeway we always shop from and in the past we go and buy the chicken special for Monday, chicken special for $4.99 for (8) pieces of dark meat. We always get the freshest from the server, but today I bought (2) orders of them chickens. The person who served me was given me the oldest chicken. They are stuck to the pan and I am eating them right now I am starting to get a stomach from them. As the person serving me , I asked him to get some either from the back or the pan that full and look fresh next to the one he gave me. I asked him if possible to get them and he said they are different, those are mixed. From the look of them they looked exactly the same as the chicken I am getting and he said they are mixed chicken and with different price. Of course they are mixed cause that is what I am buying!!! I am very disappointed with this local Safeway that I goes to all of the time when I need something. Why would you sell these chicken to your customers ?? If we get sick guess who is going to pay for this .

I don't get what the hate for this store is. It's a typical grocery store and I've never had an issue. LOCATION & PARKING // Located on 15th and 127th, this grocery store is pretty spacious. I love the huge parking lot so that's a big plus. STAFF & SERVICE // I've never had a bad experience here with the service of staff. Everyone has always been helpful (through checkout or when I need something from the liquor cabinet). OVERALL // 3.5 stars I mean, it's a standard grocery store which nothing to write home about. Personally, I've never had an issue with any non-maskers in COVID so maybe that's changed?

I went there for the last time today. Left my cart full and walked out of the store. Prices are consistently incorrectly posted on the produce or missing altogether and when I alerted the produce clerk, he just shrugged. I'm sorry, but I'm on a budget and I like to know how much something is before I put it in my basket! I've been shopping there for 2 years and it's consistently frustrating, with lack of employees available to help you, not knowledgeable when you do find them and they never offer to find someone who does know the answer when they don't know....I'm not talking about obscure info, I'm talking about 7 months into the pandemic, "what aisle is your hand sanitizer if you have any?" Can't be the 1st time someone asked them that! They just don't seem to care or be bothered and therefore, neither can I. The one manager I spoke to also unmotivated to resolve issues or take feedback. With so many other options, I don't need to shop here, even if it's 5 min from my house!

I like the selection of products available at this large location but I'm not pleased with the fact that people enter without masks and nobody who works for the store is at the entry making sure to either hand out masks or stop those without them from entering. I understand that many people are just refusing to wear them, but I shouldn't have to then spend my time in the store avoiding those people and feeling anxious the whole time. I couldn't tell if shopping carts and baskets were being cleaned between uses and I don't think they cleaned the self checkout stations between customers. Lastly I was uncomfortable going to my car with the mentally unstable people in the parking lot yelling at nobody in particular and stumbling down the middle of the aisles of traffic. There was another car hanging out in the lot with the windows down and no masks on whose driver and passenger glared at me as I walked by. I'll probably avoid this store in the future unless I'm accompanied by someone else.

I had great service, however, that went downhill. They don't read suggestions for replacement of Mon items. 4th time in a row.Now, over 3/4 of order not delivered due to their error. Called to get refund on item they sent as replacement as I requested no substitute and it was obvious the representative wasn't paying attention. Didn't offer any thing except, standard script. No, we can send replacement in a day or so, etc. Just, sorry, I don't know what happened.Not instacart, all safeway:s own mistake. Plus still charged me full delivery price for their error. A friend checked their shelves, all but 1 item out of stock. Safeway is overpriced anyway. Will use someone else from now on.4 deliveries you mess up? That's way to many chances for them to get it right.

The pharmacists are utterly impersonal. But worse is that they don't use gloves when sorting out your pills for your prescription. I found out that at the North Gate Walgreen's they do. I've transferred my prescriptions. The location is not as convenient but that's not the most important thing.

I love this place the staff are friendly helpful and overall just good people. Lines are t usually too long, parking isn't bad. Only thing I don't like about it is some people are drunk or high standing outside asking for money but it's not all the time. Good place to shop
