Some workers, including managers and security are rude to customers. Workers don't suggest you use your discount card.

The worse pharmacy in Belltown. I never review anything and try to give everyone a fair shot, but this place managed to treat me like garbage both times I tried their pharmacy -- six years apart no less! Like most people in Seattle, my beloved Bartell Drugs closed on me. I blame Ride Aid who bought all Bartell locations, just to close most of them in a couple years. Anyway, my prescriptions were forward to Walgreens without my knowledge. First I tried the downtown 3rd Avenue location, the pharmacy staff was nice, but that location is horrendous, the neighborhood is like The Walking Dead. So then I tried this Denny Street location... I get there at 5PM and the pharmacy was closed for the day. Next day, I call and call, each time their answering machine tells you to wait, they even tell you your place in line, give you a countdown till you're next, then nobody ever answers. Their App is equally worthless. So then I go there and wait in line for 30 minutes, all that to have some inconsiderate and obnoxious pharmacist tell they can't fill your prescription for a week! They need to confirm something with my doctor. Sure, who cares what the doctors and cancer specialist prescribed? The genius pharmacist has issues with the prescription. And no, the prescription was not even for an opiate. Cute stuff coming from Walgreens who made billions from illegally selling pain meds to junkies and dealers in the last 20 years. I, of course, told them to keep the rest of my meds and that I'll never be back. I got home and transferred all my prescriptions to Amazon Pharmacy, they will have them at my doorstep the next day, for cheaper. Thankfully, I will never have to step one foot in a Walgreens again.

The pharmacy is great. Staff is extremely professional and explains everything really well. They provide text message updates when your prescription is available for pickup, which is extremely convenient and helpful. Prescriptions are also ready pretty quickly, unlike the nearby Bartell's which never had it ready until I'd badger them.

If you want a deranged lady (Mein is, apparently, the pharmacy "manager") to scream over you at the top of her lungs while threatening to "cancel" your prescription instead of let you pay in cash because of an insurance billing issue which wasn't remotely your fault... BOY do I have the destination for you. If you were hoping for a normal experience where you stand in line and pick up your drugs, for the love of god, go literally anywhere else.

I usually try to avoid this Walgreens, although one of my prescriptions is handled by the pharmacy, and I must visit once a month. However, I needed to pick up some things for my wife who had a bad cold. I was wandering around, lost as usual, when Patrick, the guy in charge of stock and supply at this Walgreens, asked if he could help. I was astounded. This kindness is not often seen in Seattle. He helped me find what I needed, and Patrick even ran downstairs for the two boxes of Kleenex my wife requested. He was warm, friendly and helpful. Kudos to Patrick and kudos for Walgreens for hiring him.

I wish I could rate the pharmacy and the retail side separately. It is like fire and ice, the two. I haven't gone back to the retail side since my bad experience, but the pharmacy is just too convenient for me not to go. With that being said, the pharmacy is just amazing. Best customer service. I was in line, waiting for my turn, and the person at the counter was filling out some paperwork. The pharmacist saw me, recognized me, grabbed my things for me, then on the next register, gave me my stuff after doing the whole verification process that we need to go through by default, but she already knows who I am. I keep trying to find her name tag so I can finally start greeting her the way she does to me. If I could rate the two separately, I would give the pharmacy is 5. But since this goes for the whole thing and I already have a rating of 1 that was done, I'm going to give a 3 as to not offset the other rating too much. Just keep in mind that if you go just for the pharmacy, you're in great hands.

I went in, came out, and used what I bought. Typical pharmacy. Lots of people, lots of stuff, locked up beer.

Walgreens requires a car for COVID testing (see my review of a West Seattle location for details). Their so-called corporate number,847-914-2500, actually blocks cell phone calls. Unacceptable discrimination against low income, disabled, essential workers, and others who must use public transportation.

Pharmacy staff is professional, communicative and helpful. Transfered my prescriptions from a nearby location - worth the walk for sure.

Horrible service. I was the next person in line but the cashier kept a conversation going on for more than five minutes. She made eye contact with me but didn't even bother telling the guy someone was waiting even though they were done with his transaction. I walked around the store then eventually made my way back to the front to find a customer waiting in line. I go behind her and then when she's finished with that customer, she decides to tell me that I need to go behind three other people who at the other side because they lined up there. I walked out. This was ridiculous. Whoever she is needs to be written up or something.

If you are developing photos from your DISPOSABLE CAMERA do NOT come here they never call you when your photos are finished being and have poor customer service and the employees seem like they don't even know what they are doing. For the past few months I have been coming to them getting my photos and they have never called me when my photos are finished. One time I went to turn in cameras with a friend and they mixed up both of our photos, good thing they were my friends photos and i was able to switch out the ones that were mine and the ones that were hers, if it were anyone else's I would have said something. But this time around a friend and I went to hand in out cameras and decided to go pick them up the 7th day and they werent finished and the workers told us to come in on the 9th day, it's now the 10th day and they have no idea where our photos went. Camera's don't just grow legs and run away. DO NOT DEVELOP YOUR PHOTOS HERE PERIOD.

The pharmacy here is 5 gold stars. Very friendly, super informative, and they go above and beyond. They are always prompt and service is quick. Fairly convenient location for several neighborhoods.

Ok yes, no one really cares about a rating for a Walgreens so this is specifically about the pharmacy and after moving here from Santa Monica and honestly waiting sometimes 30 minutes or more in a CVS pharmacy line that reached out the door (yes the front door in a very large CVS-heck I could have died of whatever ailment I had waiting for my prescription)...yeah I am going to review the pharmacy at Walgreens. 1. It has a mini parking lot. :) 2. I have waited less than 5 minutes to get my prescription (CVS in Santa Monica should come spy on this Walgreens to see how they are doing it right). 3. Walgreens in Seattle transferred all my prescriptions from CVS in CA for me. 4. There is a young man (I am not sure what his name is-He has longer dark hair and some piercings) he has been there the last 2 times I have picked up prescriptions...He is the nicest, kindest and most respectful person working the pharmacy. Thank you! If you don't want a huge ordeal when you pick up your meds come here and fill your prescriptions.

Can I give them negative points? I had 8 scripts with them in 2018. I had to go in six to eight times a month. Not only wouldn't they synchronize them, but there would be at multiple problems each month. They overcharged me several times to the tune of about $1,000. They did refund me the money after making me wait several months. They blamed their systems. Every new script would take them a week or two. Any time a script expired, it was another week to wait. They told me one script was on order, but after several promises, and my complaining, they discovered they ordered something no longer manufactured and never told me about it. I got an email from them telling me my account was hacked, then they denied it. I'm sitting there looking at the friggen email. After forwarding it back to them and hearing nothing, I contacted them several times before saying they didn't know how it happened. Oh, they gave one of my refunds to some other customer. How scary is that? Every time I went in, there'd be some mistake. And the icing on the cake was when they zeroed out my rewards points., Their rules say they do that after six months of inactivity on a rolling basis. They can't explain why they zeroed out my account of thousands of points that were within the window. I feel lucky to be alive. It is criminal for a pharmacy to be so careless with prescriptions, mix up customers, and make people have to without their drugs is criminal. I'm lucky I could afford to pay them when they couldn't figure out how to bill correctly. They reimbursed me, but how many people have a spare $1k to get their medicine and wait several months to get paid back. I live one block away. In September, I went into the Safeway 3 miles away and had all my scripts transferred. They contacted me like clockwork and everything was ready for a single visit each month. Night and Day.

Terrible customer service. A sales associate named Dean was rude and lacked empathy towards myself and the client I was with. My client and I were waiting for her prescription to be ready after she had just finished a surgical procedure. She needed to use the restroom and the sales associate told her it was on the second floor. She was in a wheel chair (from the surgery) and he would not put in the code for her to get up the elevator to use the restroom. He was very irritable towards her and I had to start getting cranky with him when he refused to help her with the elevartor. (It wasn't like he was not allowing her to use the restroom, just was too lazy and rude to help my disabled client get to it, when he was the only person with the code.)
