DO NOT go to the China Express/Deli... worst food ever and poor service by the employees. Woman with the purple dress and short manager, if you see them run... even the customer service manager had to call them out on how bad they are.

The pharmacy is one of the worst. Horrible customer service. Rudeness staff. I only go there for convenience. My neighbors have the same experience is not only with the pharmacy but the store as a whole!

This Safeway is mostly good except for today. Went to the meat department, was slowly waited on, and wanted a whole crab. I asked one of The butchers to pick one out but he kept repeatedly saying which one did I want?? Picked one out and asked him to clean it. I got this old feeling that he didn't want to wait me and I was feeling uncomfortable about it. He took so long that I almost left then he showed up and wrap the crab up. I looked at it and it and he had pulled all the legs off. I said you don't clean crabs like that and he said that's how Safeway does it. I said I bought plenty of crabs here and crabs are not cleaned like that. I refused to take it like that, all that meat left over in the shell, gone or??

I have been shopping at this Safeway for several years now. I had an unacceptable experience the other day that has prompted me to write this review. We were checking out and our cashier was John. At the beginning of the transaction, we handed John our bags, and asked him to bag the groceries. At the end of the transaction he said, "I assume you are going to bag your own groceries?" I said, "No. I handed you the bags, and asked you to bag them." He then said, "Well you will need to bag them." I said "okay, whatever." He then said "thank you for bagging those," and I said "your not welcome." I'm sorry, but in the years I have been coming to this store, I have not once been asked to bag my own groceries, and the cashiers are always friendly and so are the baggers. I left the store and reported this to both Safeway's corporate office and this store's director. This was absolutely unacceptable and uncalled for behavior. If there was a new policy, they should have informed me of it, but of course, there was no new policy, just an employee not doing his job. Good luck if you get John, you might not get your groceries bagged. Safeway, do better.

Customer service was closed at mid-afternoon? Really? I had lottery tickets to cash in and the guy said he is the only one watching the registers so I'm not going back and forth from service desk back to self serve registers. I'm looking at him really no? You said you won't cash my lottery tickets for me? He said no. I'm like dude you work here you get paid to go back and forth are you kidding me? I'm like whatever and walked off. What a jerk. You know what happens to me if I say no at work! I get written up. If I get three write ups I get fired! You are getting paid! If you don't want to work go clock out! Manager needs to know this!

Came in to ask a question at the Guest Services desk behind the registers and was yelled at rudely because I didn't see a tiny sign that said you don't do FedEx shipments anymore. That's fine. But why yell at me? Poor customer service.

I do good delivery and my god the team here is amazing they will help you find stuff if you cannot find it. Mathew helped out a lot and prioritized helping us to find a couple of hard to find items. I thank you sir! You deserve a raise or Something!

Just popped into this location as I was in the neighborhood. Asked one of the employees if they had had any of the sourdough bread they make. She said "not yet " even though I could visibly see them. She just didn't want to do any work and she seemed rather miserable that she had to be working. Will not go back to this location.

Very happy with the order in advance & reserve a pick-up time option. On 12/9/21 I picked up my Order # 36268649 at 5 pm. On 12/21/21, I picked up my Order #36841310 at 5 pm. I didn't catch the mane of the 2 different delivery men on both occasions, but I wanted to share that whomever was working those shifts, were very friendly when they dropped off my order to my trunk of my car. They greeted me, said a few words, and wished me a good night & happy holidays. Really really great experiences, thank you :) hoping management will see this & share with their staff.

Coming to Seattle from a tiny town, I was blown away by the choices at this Safeway. I found everything on my list and was especially impressed by the fresh produce.

There was a woman without a mask following me when I pulled in and harassing me b/c I have Native American bumper stickers. Her friend, a blonde woman followed me inside and I was carrying Lysol and she said that I should not spray it on my hands and my body. I told her that it is a free country and that we are in a pandemic, that I have lost three family members to COVID and have lost eight family members to COVID and she just laughed and continued to harass me WHILE THE STAFF WATCHED THE WHOLE THING AND DID NOTHING. I was then followed in the ice cream area by the Psycho, maskless Trump lady who continued to threaten me and tell me she did not like Lysol users. I went up to the front and talked to an employee who looked Latino (by description) and he was on her side and I asked for security and he would not listen to the fact that she had been accosting me and claimed there was no security. I went to the service desk to ask if they can ring me up for the ice cream. The employee there agreed with me that I was being harassed and advised me to get the hell out of the store. I asked her for security and she claimed there was none. Then, a cashier named John told me, "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SPRAY LYSOL IN THE STORE" AND THAT IT WAS "DISGUSTING AND UNACCEPTABLE". I SCREAMED BACK THAT I AM STILL IN A FREE COUNTRY WHERE I AM FROM AND I CAN SPRAY MY BODY, MY BUTT AND MY OTHER AREAS F I WANT TO. When I walked out, the maskless psychotic Trump woman was outside and walked into the store while they did nothing and tried to whine b/c I told both of them that Trump needs to be sprayed as well as them b/c Trump supporters are dirty and I heard Trump would melt if you spray him with Lysol b/c he is evil. I NOW REALIZE I SHOULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE BUT I FELT I HAD TO GET OUT OF THERE. A few nights ago: There was an employee named Zack and another one named Martin who was not wearing a mask for the pick up and drive through groceries. He said, (though it is a guaranteed service) "Your food is not ready." I said, "It is only a few items." He then ripped his mask off and said, "What do you want me to do?" I ended up being charged, not getting the items and talked to a Manager named John who was not here when the TRUMP COVID RALLY HAPPENED TONIGHT.

I originally thought this store was handling COVID well, but on my last trip, I saw multiple employees unboxing goods without wearing their masks and a few others who had their noses exposed. It now makes me question whether it is safe to shop here. Really disappointed since this was at the start of the second lockdown.
