Older Beer sold at WholeFoods Multiple Whole foods do not stock fresh imported beer but beer 6-12 months old. Anheuser Busch is the distributor and WhileFoods does not seem to check quality dates delivery just gets the boxes and stocks the shelfs when need replenishing. Hard to find the latest imported beer at WholeFoods. Numerous imported beers more than 6-10 months old. Sad --- no beer connoisseurs at WholeFoods to halt the poor product quality.

Always shop here! Like freshness of meat. Everything you buy here is highest quality. So many variations of dairy and dairy substitution products. Meals at the bar are overwhelming and tasteful. Btw try Next Level Burger, it's really cool too

While it's easy to get lost in the food market shuffle in Ravenna/U District, do yourself a favor and head here, especially for select treats! Wine and spirits. Oh my. Oh my my my. Back right corner of the store will show you the way to the promised land! While some spirits are behind glass doors, much of the selection (five isles worth!) is ready for perusing. I mean, they have six types of sweet vermouth, team. Six. A grocer has more options than most "liquor" stores in the U District! Cheese. After you've settled on five or more favorite wines, turn 180 degrees and promptly build a stool out of 12 pack beers at the cheese counter. Options abound. Want a sample? No problem. Strange cutting request? Sure! I'm forever impressed with their attention to detail and expert service.

Let's get the fact that Whole Foods grocery chain is pricey, out of the way first. It is what it is and that automatically docks 1 star for me. I do not shop here for everyday grocery but I come here for some of their organic produce which I have found is cheaper than the organic counterparts at other chains like QFC/Safeway/TJs etc. Also I love their air chilled chicken which honestly tastes much better, especially in curries, than the fresh chicken I have bought from other stores listed above. It is less fatty and more flavorful. I also religiously check for their weekly sales and Prime member deals and come to exclusively for the sale items because they are good bang for buck. Shoutout to their customer service as well, since one time I bought about 5 lbs of apples which were on sale for Prime members but the cashier ringed up my purchase without first confirming if I'm eligible for the discount or not. When I mentioned that they need to adjust the price, the manager came and gave me the apples for free since they are supposed to confirm Prime membership before finalizing the purchase. Most of their dessert bakery items are pretty decent and not super pricey. They're not exceptional but definitely satisfy a quick sweet craving. Now coming to the bad part, I feel the hot bar counter is deceptively pricey. This location has the potato samosas at their hot bar and usually buying to samosas come to $5-$6 which is uber pricey for what you get. I would rather go to nearby restaurants for getting food than getting it from the hot bar. So, long story short, if you stick to buying things on sale, a few speciality items which are well priced or a better quality then it is a good grocery store. However, since I cannot shop at Whole foods alone for all my grocery needs, I'm giving this place a 3 stars!

Amazon bought this shoddy grocery chain, so the groceries they sell through Amazon Fresh are from Whole Foods. It is seriously disturbing that JEFF BEZOS would buy a company that rips off its patrons with no conscience.

Since Amazon took over, I've noticed the prices have dipped a bit overall in the produce section especially. And for a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't super busy. except around the cheese section which tends to get crowded. The products are interesting to look at, there is a lot of variety. At checkout, you can get a discount on certain items for being a Prime member if you show them a QR code. The parking situation is okay, a bit tricky, with a tight garage and some outside spots. I appreciate the size and variety of this store. I always find unique, interesting foods here that I can't find at other chain stores.

I love Whole Foods market. So this review is about their Cafe. Every time I go I find the staff to be so rude and my coffee is always burnt. Don't waste your time with this coffee. It's the worst experience.

Parking is convenient. Selection has interesting products that you can't get at a Trader Joe's or QFC. Fresh seafood is awesome. I enjoy the bakery and deli. Good location.

This store is horrible with the exception of the meat department. It's horribly understaffed. On a Sunday, when many people shop, there was only 1 full checkout line and one small order checkout line open. The reason given is someone "called out sick". But even if that person had come to work the lines and wait time would have been unreasonable. There was no one assigned to cover the cheese and deli department. Yet there's a special on sliced meats on Sundays. I asked 4 different people if they could find someone to help. 10 min later a young woman slowly sauntered out. Her explanation was "no one had been assigned to cover" that dept. and don't bother to ask anyone for the code to the restroom. They will all tell you to go to the Meat Dept. those guys work the hardest of any customer-facing staff in the place. Apparently the code is posted all over the store. And on the time clocks. Apparently the staff who work there think it's fine to dump on their colleagues in the meat dept. and more importantly can't be bothered to remember the code and be helpful to the customers who basically spend the money that in turn pays the staffs salary. Most of the people who work there and ALL of the Management team should be ashamed of themselves.

Interesting products. High prices but sometimes you get what you pay for. Staff is usually friendly. Nice layout of stores. Good location. Easy parking. Good bakery. Nice deli food.

Rudest workers I've ever encountered, have gone here a handful of time and each time the clerks are rude and have attitude. Also hard to find anyone to help you find anything.
