This is a dimmly lighted dark wood lined, stuff glued to the ceiling classic pub. The menu consists of scotch and whiskey and a few mixed drinks. It rarely changes and everyone comes back. If you just want a quiet place to relax, have a scotch, and admire the collection of oddities you can't go wrong here.

Such a funky, quirky, strange collection of vibes that change on different nights. You will find housemade whisky, dance battles, people almost fighting, wealthy locals, controversial characters, cute puppies, and more in this dive bar.

A very nice cozy Seattle like bar, authentic, with house wine and their own not so lager like beer, made the whole night pass so fast. They whole atmosphere is so local yet so quiet that you can enjoy your company yet have your tab open.Vegetarian options: YesDietary restrictions: Not sureParking: Paid street parkingKid-friendliness: NoWheelchair accessibility: Yes

What a quirky memorable experience! We had a few drinks at the White Horse Tavern after arriving by train in the evening into Seattle. We were walking around Post Alley and decided to stop in. It's a small cozy space that absolutely has a local feel. The walls (and even ceiling) are covered with random items that make no sense but that somehow adds to the charm? It's pretty dark inside at night but again that adds to the quirky charm. The drink menu mostly consists of beer, whiskey and mead. I opted for the mead (called dandelion wine on the menu) and it was pretty tasty. The bartender was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely come here if you like quirky bars. We had a great time and it was a great way to kick off our time in Seattle.

This was my first time visiting the tavern, and first time trying mead ( which was amazing). It was a great quiet place. Definitely worth a try.

This place is such a classic. I haunted this place 18 years ago before I lived in London, so once I was living in London I'd visit pubs and think, "oh! This is just like the White Horse", but now this place brings back fond England memories. I'm not entirely sure a classic Pims cup is what they're serving, but then again I wasn't entirely (or even nearly) sober when I was in there last week so who can tell? Yay for bad decisions and blurry Sunday mornings.

Easy to get drunk since it's not a cocktail bar. But they had mead and I was happy. I love the random decor and dark lighting. Definitely a chill place for an introvert like me.

One can always count on new faces, regulars, good drinks, and being "welcomed home" by Joe and his friendly crew. Great place to unwind, relax, and chat with friends. Super cozy. A hidden gem for sure.

Definitely not a place for people of color. I don’t understand the ambiance, very old fashioned. Just a couple of people talking with the bartender about antisemitism and how nazis were misunderstood.
