I recently opened a line of credit with WSECU to help rebuild my credit. A couple days after receiving my brand new credit card, I was pick pocketed at an event in Seattle and all my cards were stolen. I cancelled the card immediately but there were already 6 transactions on the card. It was a holiday weekend but the day I could reach the main line, the woman who helped me was so wonderful. I wish I could remember her name. If it helps, this was on Tuesday evening 5/30/23 at about 5pm. She was so kind to me, she listened to what happened intently, she went through all the fraud reports with patience and compassion, and she cared about my situation. When she told me the new card would be there in 10-14 days, I asked if there's any way to get it sooner (I offered to pay the expense) she then put me on hold to call her manager and got permission have my card expedited to arrive in 2 business days AND waived the fee for that. My card arrived in 2 days as expected with the balance reset. Wonderful customer service.

I might out 4k because of WSECU. I was told on Wednesday that a $4k wire transfer would be made on Thursday as requested. And that I would receive a conformation email. I checked my email on Thursday night and no conformation and no $4k in my account. I now have to sweat it out and lose sleep until I can contact them in the morning. I was oddly told they don't guarantee it will work and it's I who will take the risk. They said it's unlikely but right now I don't feel comfortable. More later...Update. Actually I was told how many digits the account number needed to be. And that's what I gave. I was told there would be a conformation of the transaction sent to my email. I never received anything in my email alerting me that the number didn't go through. This is on you WSEU so your canned response denying any culpability is typical CYA BS. OWN YOUR SH1t. This is a crappy institution with lousy tellers. It's no wonder you have a bad reputation and lots of bad reviews. Folks, don't put your money with these clowns.

It’s unfortunate I have to give a low rating, but it’s fitting. Decided to go with WSECU for a car loan because my parents have used them for years.I was pre-approved via their online system, but to make double-sure I was good to go, I went in to speak with a banker. I brought all necessary documents to solidify this loan and proceed with getting the car. Banker told me I was more than good to go with my pre-approval letter, and that I could go get a car that day.So I went & purchased the car and the dealership told me they would get all things squared away with WSECU. Well, over the next two weeks WSECU denied all my documents and stated they couldn’t approve the loan. This was very frustrating because I would have NEVER went to the dealership and drove off with the car, had I known this actually wouldn’t work out.I’m an independent contractor and make more than enough money per month to cover the high interest rate, insurance & car payment…times two, but the bank stated my documents weren’t sufficient and that I wouldn’t be able to proceed through them. This is 2-WEEKS after driving the new car around.I even called and spoke with an agent and they told me it wasn’t possible either…even though I took the time to speak with them in person prior to getting the car.Thankfully, my dealership was able to move me from WSECU to BECU and now all is well. My loan is finalized with the documents provided and I’m good to go with the car & loan.Long story short, go to BECU and save your time.

I've been a member at this branch for 30 yrs, since I was a teenager teller! Employees stay, which is a testament to the way WSECU treats them. Member service is always friendly, efficient, & extremely helpful. Branch Manager Kathy P & long time employee Ray are priceless team members!

Fantastic customer service. I took out a boat loan a few years ago. Andrew was very attentive and answered all my questions and concerns. When there was an issue, we worked it out. I'm happy with my experience here.

WSECU usually has great CS. Branch on Fairview teller 3734 was rude and questioned why I wanted my bills the way I wanted it. First of all it's non of you business and it's not your money to be asking how i want it. Do your job and give me the change i want. A teller should never ask you your reasoning for how you want you money.

By far the best banking experience I've ever hard. The folks at WSECU treat you like family. At the last big bank I was at, that wasn't even close to being the case. I can't recommend them more highly.

Don't waist your time!This is a horrible institution. It was good a few years ago but has become your standard bank doing bank things, lying and hurting people!Long story but you get a one star and that's to much!

WSECU made an error, I don't know how or who but somehow my paid car loan appeared unpaid and ended up damaging my credit. However, after speaking with Nicky from WSECU I have been informed that not only are they going to fix my credit but also forgive other outstanding debts of mine. As a veteran with disabilities like PTSD and TBI I am not always the easiest person to help. I feel that WSECU has risen above and beyond my expectations and i greatly appreciate Nicky and the other representative from WSECU for helping me correct this error and treating me with dignity and respect even when I was angry. Thank you WSECU customer support!
