Costumer service is horrible Extremely Disappointing Customer Service Experience I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience with your customer service, which compelled me to leave this 1-star review. I believe it is crucial for potential customers to be aware of the issues I encountered. First and foremost, my dissatisfaction stems from the shocking lack of transparency in your billing practices. I discovered additional charges on my account that were added without any prior consultation or notification. As an account owner, I expect to be informed before any changes are made to my billing especially if it is the wrong person you are charging . Moreover, my attempt to address this matter with your customer service representative, Amelia, only exacerbated the situation. It became evident that she was not interested in understanding my concerns. Instead, she repeatedly interrupted me and did not allow me the opportunity to fully explain my situation. Effective communication is key in resolving issues, and unfortunately, this was sorely lacking in my interaction with Amelia. What further intensified my dissatisfaction was Amelia's unprofessional response when I voiced my frustration. Instead of attempting to find a resolution, she declared that she was putting me on hold as a form of punishment. This kind of behavior is both unprofessional and unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, not subjected to punitive measures for expressing my concerns. It is essential for your organization to address these glaring issues in customer service, as they reflect poorly on your brand and can drive customers away. I sincerely hope that steps will be taken to improve transparency in billing practices and to train customer service representatives to handle concerns with professionalism and empathy. Until these issues are addressed, I find it difficult to recommend your services to others.

I don't get why this place said it had a 24/7 atm and when I went to do a deposit, there was no atm available. And the bank itself was not open at the time. So they do not have a 24/7 atm. Liars!!!

Reported falsely to my credit bureaus on two separate occasions. The first instance was not resolved and the company advised was my fault, even though I made my 1st payment in person, called the contact center for every payment made after my 1st in person, but somehow either my payment was misapplied, I was advised an incorrect month a payment was applied. I took the company's word for it and assumed initially it was my fault. Fast forward another year, the same thing happens. This time I learned my lesson and documented every time I made a payment. Called their "customer service" and was advised to fill out a credit dispute form, even though the associate and I found the payment. ( This is the company's fault, they should be able to pull their submission, not rely on the customer to fix their mistake ) This just proves their negligence, if you bank their make sure you have record or all of your payments.

WORST BANK EVER. Seems predatory. I got an auto loan through them but it was impossible to set up auto pay. I'm assuming so they can charge people late fees. I decided to get my loan refinance through an actual bank and even that process took over 2 hours. My bank called them to get everything paid off and WSECU took over 40 minutes to find my account and then just dropped the call. This happened 2 times. The 3rd time we finally got a hold of them WSECU told me they needed me to call them separately to verify it was me even though I was on the line. So, I had to call on another phone just so the 2 banks could speak to each other on speaker phone. Totally ridiculous. Don't be fooled or lured into this bank because they give you a better rate on a loan than other banks. There is a reason. I refinance to a higher rate just to not have to deal with them. You get what you pay for applies here. I'm glad it was just a loan. I wouldn't want an institution holding my money who takes 40 minutes to find my account. I can only imagine how hard it is to get your money out of this bank but, if yours is in there get it out A.S.A.P.

WSECU is great. By far the easiest, straight forward banking/credit union experience I've had. Always super helpful and efficient. So happy I found them.

To be honest with you I think the credit unions are in trouble in Washington state I know for a fact that I've been having trouble with Twin Star Credit Union And it sounds like a complete echo of what my troubles are they went to a new look and when they went to the new look I think people started getting money extracted out their accounts and they may have started getting other accounts extracted over the weekends like on Sunday when the football games were being played the professional football games in sports you know and me and twin star we had a problem with this and we've been going round and rounds and you know what I found out that Walmart had to end up returning monies from me and I had my credit union asked me is it them or is it us or you know point the finger around and stuff and then I hear This credit unions have the same problem i'm looking for a new place to move for TwinStar And here it is again you know the federal Bank of Olympia sounds like it's a pretty good bank and I might just go with them instead of this credit unions I'll say this twin star will give you a good overdraft on your check you know you could just write one big overdraft check and get paid 1 fee at the end of the month if you play that game with them but their money is not good enough for all the problems that you have with these people And by the way my dad had a bowling alley in Morton and now it's called Mill House Smokehouse and their cell and pulled pork and the pulled pork is connected to these credit unions matter of fact Twin Star removed one of their credit unions out of the town of Morton And dot looks like they shut down Morton over the Morton Logger's Jubilee because they caught wind that it might just be the next lemonade stand like the James Jones massacre so I think these credit unions at a whole better start cleaning up their acts The second that they start merging together as a big sign that there's a big problem and that's exactly what twin star credit union just did was merger with someone else and if this credit union has done the same thing I could see why the problem can be happening they want to spread it around so it takes them all down another AGI American general financing did the same thing they overextended themselves people took out big bonus they gutted it out hey you know what But this is something different the credit unions might not be playing clean and fair like they should be.

I had an account with them for a few months a couple years ago but closed it after just a few months due to frustration with their online banking website and phone service. This branch is great for dealing with them in person but, as many other reviews will show, they are terrible in terms of their website and phone response. Other financial institutions don't seem to have any problem with online banking being fast, intelligent and customer friendly but WSECU is just terrible. They really need to have their website completely rewritten and maintained by professionals who understand the needs of the customers/members. You'd think that after 25 years of the internet, they would understand how much these failings have a negative impact on their business and their standing in the community. I see reviews from members who were with them for decades and decided to leave for the same reasons I'm listing here. Hopefully they will acknowledge that this is the 21st century and they need to improve their online and phone services.

They should not deal with motorcycle loans they don't understand that in some places in the country you may park it for 3 months because of a thing called winter. So while my bike is stored it is completely covered by my homeowners insurance yet they want full coverage insurance on top of that while it's being stored

Looking for a broker? Look no further. I have been impressed with the banking side of the house for all 12 years I've been their customer. Today I started placing my full portfolio into the management of WSECU's brokers. This is as honest and knowledgeable a group as I have ever encountered. They talk plain language about available options, honor my parameters, and go out of their way to accommodate wherever they can. In time, they will manage all of my portfolio. Look them over before you choose a broker for your own needs.

Absolutely horrible experience! Hours on hold and several days before I even talked to a loan officer only find out their online information wasn’t accurate. I am sorry because there are “nuances…” even if that wasn’t the case getting ahold of an actual person is near impossible. Avoid this bank if at all possible… wouldn’t trust them with my kids piggy bank.

Always on hold for longer than 20 minutes, treated like a second class citizen and financially not worth it. No incentives, could barely get a credit card through them but was able to secure mortgages, cards and loans with other banks.

I banked with this bank for years and I've decided that I wanted to open up a credit card with them that was the wrong thing to do because their service really is no good they have no one to answer phones they have nobody to call anyone back and they want so many questions I don't understand why they just don't pull your credit report I have no problem with that but they seem to not want to. Then they do it some shady way. long story short I'm closing all my accounts with them and moving to a different bank. If you want a credit card you might as well just go somewhere else because in the end you end up without anything and a headache.

I am leaving a review here because this is the closest location to where I live. Cannot recommend this credit union for the life of me. you cannot edit how much your payment is for credit cards on mobile banking. They give you a phone number to call instead. Easy enough, right? Nope. As i write this I have been on the phone with WSECU for the past hour and no one has picked up. Great service guys! I'd switch banks if I didnt have an outstanding balance on the credit card that, y'know, I'm trying to CALL about. Really giving me "battered housewife stuck with her abusive husband vibes"
