I didn't stay the night here. I just came to eat at the restaurant/ bar area.Food & drinks: The food was amazing!! The steak was my favorite as it was super juicy and tender. The onion petals were tasty but definitely needed more of that curry sauce because that was delicious, too. The atmosphere was so cute. If you are looking for a holiday getaway, this is the spot.

This hotel and Pub have real Victorian charm. We did not stay overnight. We did go by for lunch and a glass of wine at the Pub. It was a very nice place, the food, atmosphere and wine were great.

Such a cool & historic hotel. We stayed over Halloween/my birthday and were very satisfied with our stay. Awesome Halloween decor, interesting historical info, great hotel service, good pub food. My only “complaint” is that we didn’t meet a ghost (Boo!) and we didn’t find the bed/pillows to be super comfortable (but they certainly aren’t the worst). I thought it was really cool that when we ran into our Shelburne pub server Sara at a different location on our way out of town, she immediately recognized us & asked me how my birthday celebration was even asking if we liked the band we saw. Away from her work at the Shelburne, Sara still made us feel like an important guest & new friend.

The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are like victorian themed. It's such a cute hotel! I absolutely love this place. The employees that I've met have had the kindest hearts, this place is really special to me. CLAWFOOT

Everything about this small historic inn is superb. From the decorations to the bar, the food, and the drinks, this place takes you back in time. If you're into atmosphere, this is the place for you. If you're into ghosts and ghost stories, this place is also for you. With 4 different ghosts believed to walk the grounds, I can't imagine a better place to bring on the adrenaline for a date night or just any night to remember.Rooms: Small and rustic, maintaining the hallmarks of a historical hotel.Food & drinks: Food was very well presented and tasted excellent.Noteworthy details: Atmosphere is the winner here.

Very nice hotel. Older but with charm. Romantic. The outside flower gardens are nice and the inside lobby is beautiful. Nice game area with a pool table and shuffleboard. Shower temperature goes up and down with the toilets being flushed as the plumbing is old but not a big deal. The restaurant really shines. Great food. Great atmosphere.

What a cute little place. I LOVED the ambiance. You enter through the pub/restaurant to get to the hotel desk. The lady at the desk was so friendly. Explained everything throughly! I saw someone write in their review that not all rooms are equal and they are right. Our room was exceptionally clean and cute, but not spacious. Was a little tight for two of us with two luggages, back packs, and cooler from our PCH driving as this was a hotel for the night. Our room also didn't have AC (something I should have expected in the northwest but we are from TX and just didn't anticipate it). Luckily they did have a fan that worked double time AND their windows had screens. We didn't eat at the pub, but got a night cap cocktail at the bar and took it up to the room. We didn't take advantage of this, but the lovely lady at the front desk explained they had a closet of games and books for us to use during our stay. While we didn't use it, I LOVE that and think everyone should know they have that! I would absolutely stay again, just be more selective with our room!Nearby activities: Cute little walkable beach town area with restaurants, games for kids, bakery, beach etc.

Ok. Some rooms are not as great as others. KNOW what you are booking! But if you can't enjoy yourself at this old hotel, in this great little town, just stay home.Oh, and the employees in this old hotel were second to NONE!Thanks!

Historic and even haunted hotel! I love the wood and stained glass look and the gardens. I also love that they have a bar and restaurant so you don't have to go anywhere! A bit outside of town and a bit of longer walk to the beach.

Unfortunately, there were a few things to be desired about a recent trip to the Shelburne mainly the way staff dealt with communicating during inconvenient situations including power outage and training a new chef at the Adrift restaurant. The power went out intermittently in Seaview around dinner and although the bar staff offered to serve a drink, they understandably had to shut down the kitchen, and they did not offer to comp anything as they said their main concern was inability to charge guests for drinks or other snacks and they opted to get the room numbers from folks in order to charge later. With no other options or information we ventured into Long Beach to find a dinner spot and purchased our own supplies including flashlights for the return back to the hotel. The next day we learned that breakfast is only served on the weekends and we were advised to go into Long Beach again to their partner hotel, Adrift at the Pickled Fish which we did, yet unbeknownst to us they were training a new chef that morning and it was an hour after we ordered before any food was served. We overheard the issue about untrained kitchen staff being the issue from the wait staff running around and no offer of a comp or real explanation at the front end otherwise we would've gone elsewhere. Disappointing experience overall at both hotels.

Charming 100+ year old inn. Clean rooms and a delicious pub downstairs. Partnered with the Adrift hotel down the road so you may use their amenities like bikes and pool which was great.

I will never book with them again. I had a very terrible experience. When I booked it I was so excited to go stay there, but then the instant I got into my room that feeling was diminished by a ton. The pictures of the rooms online were very spacey and comfortable looking, when I got there none of what I seen online was true. My hubby, my 1 year old, and I were to stay in this room and was told it was big enough for a pack and play, but that was not true at all. It didn’t have any means of AC or cool air even to come in from outside as the windows didn’t open at all. I then went to talk to the front desk worker and she wouldn’t even acknowledge the fact that I was trying to talk to her. So I wrote a note for the front desk lady and left to go to a different hotel. Anyways, I personally wouldn’t recommend this place. If I coulda done 0 stars I would have.
