I had given my daughter a cash deposit in a white envelope to put in the night deposit slot at the Sedro Woolley Branch August 5th Tuesday so I called the bank yesterday to see if they had deposited that amount into my account, the gal told me that they wouldn't be able to do that until later in the afternoon. I don't drive anymore so I can't go to the bank personally and have to rely on my daughter to do my errands for me. So you mean to tell me that they don't check the night deposit slots until later in the day ? I called the bank again this morning and it still had not been deposited into my account. What the heck is going on?

40 years ago a branch of this bank (US Bank) in Porlland was kind enough to give me a loan to start my business. I was loyal for decades, ignoring the occasional blip in customer service. No longer.I should have read the reviews about CS here before I opened this account 18 months ago. A similar bank in Mt V has offered me $500 to open an account (I have an 840 credit score, ave balance $25k, multiple CCs). They gave me all kinds of perks (checks, transfers, withdrawals, etc, with no additional fees.) not offered at this branch.Here, I was grinned-f***** for asking for help and ignored by the manager. I cannot say enough bad things about them!

Back in the day, this bank was managed by caring, compassionate people who made you feel valued as a customer. . . Now, it is managed by a gaggle of despotic malcontents who will do nothing in the way of ensuring quality customer service or satisfaction. I have been banking here for over 20 years. 20 years! I have been depositing my work paycheck here every 2 weeks for thirteen years. At the corporate level, is a funds availability policy that states if I deposit my check into the ATM on a Saturday, I won't get my money until first thing Tuesday. Fine, I get it; however, corporate will tell you that the branch manager has the authority to force the funds to your account sooner. When I asked the manager to do this for me she refused! I had representatives from corporate ask her twice, as well, while I waited on the line. Each and every time she refused. Her reasoning, she didn't feel "comfortable" forcing it through for me. Keep in mind she had the power to help me, I had never asked for that kind of help before and most importantly I have deposited over 310 paychecks from the same employer at this branch. The level of callousness, in addition to the arbitrary and capricious manner she chose to treat me with speaks volumes to the character of the people working this branch. It's deplorable, awful and shouldn't be allowed to continue. Never have I had two decades of loyalty met with such irreverence! Corporate was very helpful, yet they were powerless to stop this one rogue manager from inflicting her insipid will upon me. I cannot fault the corporation. They have always treated me well, but if you can, avoid this branch. They're just not very good at this whole humanity thing there.

Bank manager withholds funds based on her mood. Rules are used abitrarily to annoy customers. Sarah is an ignorant, vengeful, power hungry monster. Perfect bank employee?! I guess so. Awful awful place. Stuck there for 20yrs, can't wait to escape.
