Gateway Automotive is an independent aftermarket facility known for great, honest service. The technicians are retrained several times a year and participate in periodic factory technical training to stay updated. The shop is a member of the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA). Customers report being treated well, with things explained to their understanding. Communication is great, making approvals and payment easy electronically. The mechanics are honest, not doing unnecessary work, and instead test fluids and inspect items to see if replacement is truly needed. They look over safety items and address them. Work is done in a timely fashion, often for a cost that is less than the quoted estimate. The shop is environmentally conscious, recycling and heating with waste oil. Many customers are very satisfied, trust the team, and plan to make it their regular shop, highly recommending it to others.
