My dad had these guys replace his windshield and 3 days later water got into the wire harness and the van had an electronic malfunction. My dad had to pay Toyota $800 to make a temporary repair.

Our insurance agent James Castell sent us to Sequim Genuine Auto Glass now Safelite Auto Glass in Sequim. James told us they have a relationship with Brian over there at Sequim Genuine Auto Glass. Brian told me he charged me only $289 to help me not have to pay our $500 deductible. After market parts were used. I am pretty sure that the installer that worked on our van was not properly trained. During the window replacement the installer damaged our molding, scratched our auto (failed to sand and paint now it will rust and Brian never told us about any of the damage to our auto), did not hook up our windshield heat and four days later our auto had an electronic malfunction while we were driving. It was very dangerous and we had to pay Wilder Toyota $800 because water got into our wiring harness. The problem has still not been resolved. The Safelite master trainer Bryan Harris (30 years with business) was over at Silverdale Safelite and inspected our auto. He told us about a recurring water leak associated with a heating wire that the company had been experiencing. He told me to tell Brian in Sequim to have a new shield ready when we came back to the Sequim shop. Brian did not order a new shield. I am not sure I would want them to work on our auto again anyway. Horrible experience.

Anyone have issues with Genuine Auto Glass of Sequim? Or know why they changed their name to Safelite Auto Glass? They changed our windshield on June 2 and five days later water got under the dash. We had to pay Wilder $800 to make repairs and now the entire wiring harness may go out which costs $3500. I made a FB post and I am seeing others that experienced leaks after the installation.Services: Wiper blade installation
