Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm is a very enjoyable and beautiful place to visit, especially during the full lavender season from June through August. It is a top lavender farm in terms of festival enjoyment, offering a great jumping point for the Lavender Festival. The farm features beautiful fields of lavender for a stroll or a self-guided tour, a garden maze that children love, and u-pick lavender. There are tons of photo opportunities, including a specific beautiful spot in the field for family photos. During the festival, there is free live music, a free photo booth, and activities like an instructor showing how to make lavender dolls. Food options include a lavender brat, chorizo nachos, a BBQ pulled sandwich, and lavender ice cream. Drinks include a solid selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. There is plentiful free parking. The farm charges an entrance fee, which can act as a multi-day pass, and accepts card, cash, and digital payments. The cute gift shop offers a wonderful, hand-crafted selection of lavender products, from soaps to apparel, including unique custom t-shirts. It is a great place to bring kids and families for a great time.
Very beautiful farm! We went on a sunny day and it was hard to find shaded spots for pictures. Would recommend going on a cloudy day and beware of honeybees! Bug spray recommended. Don’t forget to try their lavender ice cream🍨
