I don't usually leave reviews, but I had such a wonderful experience today at Safeway Pharmacy that I had to share. The woman who helped me, Verenna (according to my receipt), was amazing! I had been stressing and struggling with my insurance for days, trying to figure out how to get my prescription filled. She was so helpful and kind and was able to get it filled for me. Verenna, if you see this, you’re the best! 💗

I have used them for a year now and never had problems with them. The pharmacist has alway been helpful and expedited needed meds. They txt me when meds ready which saves me time.

This is a pharmacy, not a clinic. The staff is always courteous and kind. I've gotten my vaccinations here instead of my doctors office. This, due to the fact they offer an array of vaccinations and they're fresh, up to date vials. Not sitting in the fridge for months. The employees are not checkers, take store purchases to the front of store. Wait your turn, patiently. In life, sometimes, have to wait in line, folks. Not everything is "push-a-button" instant gratification.
Who are these reviewers? Too much time on your hands. Wait in line. Or, go somewhere else.

Absolute stellar service. Recently had an issue with my prescription and the staff took the time to diagnose and resolve the problem. That's saying a lot because this pharmacy is extremely busy.

Don't come here. They charge 20% in taxes! I had a small cart of stuff and they overcharged me. $140 wasted

Awful Service by rude employees. I had a COVID test scheduled at 7pm. I showed up at 6:40pm and the ladies behind the counter all started complaining about how Safeway is "Stuffing these tests down their throat". They told me they were busy and I needed to come back at 7pm. I walked laps around the store and every time I walked by everyone was standing around talking. I stopped in again at 7pm, paid for the test, and was sent to a waiting room; the ladies were still complaining. I waited ten minutes until one of the pharmacists came in with the swab. I swabbed my nose and left. Five minutes later I had the results.

During the past couple of years, pharmacies everywhere have struggled. Whether it be problems with keeping our prescriptions stocked/receiving their orders or just having enough staff to remain open to serve ALL of us, the pandemic has hit pharmacies especially hard. I have been a patron of Sequim, Safeway Pharmacy since before my children were born (they're grown) & long before my spinal cord injury. These WONDERFUL people have literally kept me alive for years. Their patience, professionalism, empathy & KINDNESS are what keeps me from EVER switching to another pharmacy. It IS AMAZING to me, that even under the extreme pressures they can face on any given day (from any given customer, doctor, insurance co, or employee), that they can STILL make individuals feel like they CARE!

I've been shopping at Safeway since I was a kid and my father worked there in California back in the early 90s. They have great prices and selections of foods and everything else that would be needed.

Clean but not a good variety of items in stock. I was looking for Ezekiel bread. They do not carry it and will not place an order for it. I went down the street to QFC and they keep it in stock as a regular item. I guess I will do my shopping at QFC.
