Great experience! Our 20 year old Ford Ranger's had a part break which broke shorted the computer which shorted the fuel pump. They were able to assess the issue and find a solution since computers for a pickup this old were no longer available. It took some time but Tom let us know what was going on every step of the way. Highly recommend Sequim Auto Repair!

Brought my vehicle here after taking it to 3 other shops in the area. 2 In Port Angeles and 1 in Sequim. I had an intermittent issue that was hard to replicate without driving my vehicle extensively. The staff here were knowledgeable and fair. I had to bring it in a few times to work with them to narrow down what it was. I was only charged for parts and services that fixed my issue, not for any troubleshooting that had to take place in the process. This is a local shop with friendly reasonable staff. I will recommend this shop to anyone that is in the area. Thank you for the awesome service and fair pricing.

Had my car break down and was told to take it here, I'm glad I did.
Tom was very professional and helpful even with some unexpected problems. No surprises from them. Appreciated that they got me a ride back to the hotel as well. Great shop, great people! Thanks Tom and Trenton as well as the techs that fixed my car!

You can call around all you want but you'll end up at sequim auto repair. You will be satisfied and you will save money. These guys listen to your concerns, diagnose the issue, and repair everything with a very detailed explanation of the service and an invoice with warranty info and a price breakdown. The folks at sequim auto repair will do it right every time! Thanks guys!

I took my Ford Ranger to Sequim Auto Repair October 2024, and I couldnât be happier with the experience. If youâre researching mechanics you can stop here because youâll be happy with Sequim auto Repair. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and exceptional thanks largely to Trenton, whose customer service truly stood out.
Trenton took the time to explain each step of the repair process in detail. His professionalism and kindness made what could have been a stressful situation incredibly smooth.
The quality of the work performed on my truck was impeccable. They actually fixed some issues that were leftover from a different mechanic. They did so without charging for anything unnecessary.
What really sets them apart, however, is the commitment to transparency and communication. Every update and explanation from Trenton came promptly without any confusion. Their dedication to keeping their clients informed throughout the process is really special. Keep him on the phones he has great energy.

After getting a $1500 quote from the KIA dealership to fix the heater in my car, I went to Sequim Auto Repair, where I had been getting my oil changes, and asked them if they could repair it for less. And, they sure did! They repaired the heater and changed my oil for half the price that I had been quoted by the dealership. It's enjoyable to work with friendly, local folks!

The mechanic came out and test drove our minivan and stated we needed a new transmission. To be fair, we had gone there because our transmission was slipping and whining and we asked about him changing the tranny filter and was told it would cost $400 and would involve 2 hours labor; however, upon test driving it, he stated our transmission was going out. So, my husband, not being a mechanic, changed the tranny filter and added four quarts of ATF fluid in less than 30 minutes and our minivan is shifting perfectly and is on the road again. Thank You, Honey!

What a bad experience. I brought my car in because I had a leak and the car was struggling to start but not on cold starts, it would fire right up. They replaced my starter along with my steering rac and pinion assuring me the problem was fixed. The next day my car still had a leak and wasnât starting as it should along with pulling heavily to the right. After calling about the concern I was told I would need an alignment (they did not tell me this up front or even after the service was completed.) Turns out the rear diff gasket was the leak and when I had another shop do my alignment they let me know my new steering rack had old hardware/washers in it and was leaking at the banjo bolt where a rusty washer was obviously reused. When I brought this to sequim autoâs attention they assured me that it is normal and itâs fine. I paid over 2k for things I feel were not even the issues I was having and didnât even get new hardware with it? I was offered a free diagnosis of my car and that I had a warranty on the steering rack but I would have loved a diagnosis in the first place, rather than throw parts we âthinkâ will fix it the problem. Ty at the front is pretty good but the other fella seems to not give a shitâŚ..at all. I also had pickup delays, a lifetime warranty part that they refuse to uphold since Marv is no longer owner, I could go on and on. I will not be back, best of luck fellas. Moved to Sequim almost 2-yrs ago. Had some basic oil changes at other shops and was not happy. Just had both my cars regular oil & filter maintenance done. This will be my go to provider going forward. Very friendly and they genuinely desire to treat customers with respect and care. So happy to find my new clinic for car care.

To be fair I'm somewhere between a 4.5 and a 5. These guys were able to address my issue super fast, and they bent over backwards to get my car done as quickly as they could. As a delivery driver, this is my absolute livelihood. They fixed the problem correctly with a short delay that I don't think was any fault of theirs. The labor was a bit high for a job right on top / front of the engine, but maybe I'm ignorant of labor charges these days. Either way I would (and will) go back there. I would also caution people about the previous negative reviews, as someone who works in the service industry I know people tend to leave negative (and emotion based) reviews quicker than positive reflections, so I think it's best to form an opinion through your own personal experience. They have terrible customer service. They did not do what they told me that they would do. It is obvious that they care less about customer service by the ownerâs tone of voice. This is the only time I have used their business. I made appointment days ahead and they did not have the parts to start the job after I dropped my vehicle off at 8am. I was told at that time that they would be getting started on my vehicle would it be ready around 2pm, it was not ready. They knew it would not be ready at 2pm and did not call me when they realized they needed to order parts. This is the new owner of the business and it does not have any customer service experience. They are in over their heads and I would be surprised if they last a couple of years. They have not owned this business vary long. Any positive Google reviews are base on the original ownerâs experience.Updated to say the owner of SA phoned today to discuss my complaint. The owner emphasized how important customer service is to him and that because of this complaint there would be some ongoing customer service training for his employees.

Went there when Marv owned it. Last oil change with Marv was $32. 6 months later and new owner was $85. Said it was because oil price went up.
