Recently moved to Sequim and needed to find somewhere to get my toes done! I look forward to a pedicure it's my little treat to myself. Unfortunately Sequim nails did not make me feel welcome. I tried calling multiple times on different days no answer. I decided to just show up when they open. On a Tuesday morning. lol they asked if I had an appointment and I said no due to them not answering there phone. There was a looooooong dramatic pause and I felt as if I wasn't going to be helped. After a couple minutes and then talking amongst themselves the gentleman sat me down. And from the start to finish I did not feel welcomed nor relaxed. I still tipped cause I'm not a bad person but I will not be spending my hard earned money here ever again.

I 100% will be going here for my nails from now on, Anna is an amazing tech, she did exactly what I wanted and she was so patient as I am a really stiff handed person. My nails are beautiful and overall my experience with everyone was great I was happily greeted when I walked in the door and seated right away. I had a 10am appointment, It took a bit for them to actually start my nails but they were really busy and had a lot going on in there. If you can I would request Anna or ally for your nails!

Sometimes the nails turned out good and other times they didn't. A lot depended on the person doing the work.

Kim and Anne gave me the best pedicure ! So relaxing and and great service !!!! I highly recommend them.
Jennifer did a great time and was very thorough.
Also, they have the widest selection of colors I’ve ever seen one salon have !

I have been going to Sequim nails for over 3 years. Service was mediocre but I liked Anna (nail tech) so I kept coming back. I always tip 25-35%. Gel manicure became very streamline without wax, with a fake little cuticle trim and no lotion massage or cuticle oil. So I asked the owner about getting these now "extra" services done and she said "Oh yeah, you just ask Anna." So I did come in and, wanting to be pampered, asked for just a manicure without color change. You would have thought I had asked for the moon. All of the sudden the chatter in Vietnamese between nail techs became heated and Anna acted like she'd never seen me ( or my money) before. She just acted confused and indignant. I got up and left feeling defeated. I had really needed to be pampered and Sequim Nails was not the place for that. They have lost a great client.
Requested style: manicure without color change

My first time here after moving to the area for work for a few months. I was a walk-in guest and they were accommodating. The service was great, staff was friendly, and the place was super clean. My gel mani and pedi are looking beautiful! I'll be back!

I made an appointment for a reason - which was confirmed by the salon by phone call the day before - because MY time is valuable. Apparently, the salon doesn't think so. I waited 25 minutes past my appointment time (not including arriving ten minutes prior), and not once, but TWICE, the tech left the table to take care of whatever.... Cuticle care AND under the nail are both a part of a manicure, which she did not do although I did say something - she did her thing and that was that. Although the tech did a good job of painting the nails, the fill itself was left wanting in that the filing and final smoothing was not good in that the fill need to be to all edges of the nail (tip AND sides) and, the filing was cursory and not smooth. I have had acrylic nails since 1987 almost continuously and have had a multitude of nails techs over the years as I've moved around so yes, I do know what I'm talking about. If I could fill my own nails I would; however, I have long considered this my "pamper time/downtime". Paying a ridiculous $42 for the fill is excessive, especially since it was not a proper manicure by industry standards. I felt that I as a customer, was just another job to do and certainly not a priority nor felt comfortable. I will NOT be going back to this salon. I obviously have to find a salon in Port Angeles fifteen miles away as there are no other salons in Sequim that fill acrylic nails.

Writing for a friend and would give zero stars if possible…but they like to get longer nails and after an appt that took 3.5 hours the owner asked if next time when we call and make an appt to ask for a 2 hour window for my friend to ensure we get seen and out the door in a more timely manner. When my friend made their appt they tried to confirm they blocked out 2 hours but who ever was on the phone was super short and hung up. Fast forward to 6/19 when their appt was they were coming from PA and didn’t realize a road was closed in sequim and was a few minutes late. My friend sat for 30 minutes and then the owner and an employee started to argue with each other and the owner walked over to my friend and said the nail stylist they wanted isn’t working and they cant get their nails done. When my friend tried to ask questions and figure out what happened the owner got rude and asked my friend to leave.
We have been here multiple times and have paid $160+ each trip and each time one of us has an bad experience, don’t like our nails, or we are sitting for hours and walk ins are being finished before us (who had an appt).
There’s been another incident where we had an appt at 5 pm and didn’t get out until 8 pm and we were starving not expecting to be there that long and the owner was working on my nails stops and begins to eat then finishes my nails without washing her hands.
They don’t see you as a costumer but just a bunch of dollar signs!

This was my second time at this business for a pedicure. First was ok. Today I had a young girl who never made eye contact, seemed bored, yawned at least a dozen times, did the bare minimum and used the wrong color. I was so disappointed I did not correct her. Hardly any nail care. Never said thank you or goodbye. Took my money and walked away without a word. Nice environment and seemed very clean. I very much wanted this to be my pedicure home. I will keep looking.

I used to enjoy this place. It seems like anytime I’ve gone this last year I can see the prejudice between how clients are treated with appointments and walk-ins when listening two phone interactions. Also, they do multiple people at a time and so you’ll be there for a very long time as they take walk-ins and bounce between people I called make an appointment to have my nails taken off, which is something that shouldn’t take very long. They told me 7 PM. So I asked how about the next day and she said 7 PM. So I asked how about Friday? And she said 7 PM all week! That doesn’t make sense because I know if I would’ve been having something done that is more profitable, I would have to fit in. It’s ridiculous that I am told 7 PM for an entire week. I’ll just never be back.

I used to love Sequim Nails. Not anymore. I've booked several appointments and I always have to wait 15-30 minutes for anyone to get started. They book several appointments for the same time and do not have enough people to service everyone. I used to do a mani pedi, then due to time I switched to just a gel mani, then just quit going after the gel nails were so thick I couldn't pick anything up and then chipped off after 4 days! Their prices are getting higher and higher and the quality of service is getting lower and lower. Sad because I enjoyed their cute place.

I'm from out of town and to be honest with you, I'm a nail tech myself. So I was worried about how the Sequim nails team would meet my expectations. They were perfect! Cozy atmosphere and spacious to where you don't smell the overpower smells that salons give. I adored the lady that did my pedicure ($35) and she convinced my bf to join in and both of us enjoyed our experience.

they are the kindest people that have ever done my nails. they make sure to get the lil annoying stuff that can be left after you get acrylics and they are very precise with design work. by far my favorite nail place from here to seattle.

I went a couple of times. The last time the gel nail polish peeled off in one piece. On all my nails. Not going back.
