Serenity House Thrift Store is a must-visit shop on the northern peninsula. It is a large, clean, and well-organized place with a quick turnover of items. The business consists of three buildings to explore: a main store for clothes, shoes, and housewares; a furniture outlet; and a hardware shop. An antique store is also located in the back. Proceeds go to house and provide services for people who have no home. The store is known for having always something fun, interesting, and eclectic, with something for everyone. Weekly specials are posted. While some things are overpriced, there are spots with okay prices and fair overall pricing. The staff is very friendly and super, with clerks described as efficient, to the point, and very nice. Visitors are encouraged to plan on spending at least an hour looking at everything.
