Good quality things in here. I’m giving it 2 stars tho because I spent a great deal of time picking out a few pots & pans. They have one price written on the bottom & then a sticker price (marked down) on the sides. The manager there refused to honor the sticker prices & had a rather nasty attitude about it, like he was so utterly annoyed having to even explain himself. Not a good look for business even if it is a thrift store. I mean it’s a thrift store! I would rather not return & take my business elsewhere.

Some things are overpriced for sure, but there are spots with okay prices. It's pretty big and there are a lot of things.

The main building was where I bought beautiful blouses. I was very happy with my 5 blouses, and an astray, all priced $5.00 & below. The place and clothing itself, smells super clean! The clerk was "to the point", and efficient! In the "furniture building", the female employee was friendly, even if we didn't find anything to buy, and even welcomed us back again! If I lived in Sequim, I'd shop here all the time.

Proceeds go to house and provide services for people who have no home. Always something fun or interesting. Weekly specials posted on the dry erase board. Main store, furniture outlet and hardware-electrics-plumbing, three buildings to explore.

This thrift shop is a must for all the northern peninsula. Be sure to stop at all three of the shops on this plaza. The main shop(clothes, shoes, housewares, etc) the furniture shop and the hardware shop (think rummaging around someone's well stocked garage tool shop). They have a quick turnover so I shop there, often

***Tools building is very good: the prices are reasonable, the selection unique, and the attendant friendly.***
The main building and boutique are lousy. These are items that have been donated, and many have unbelievable prices on them. Cheaper to get them from ebay! I have no idea what kind of greed and dissolution they are dealing with in the pricing departement. That said, there is generally a good selection. In the main store, the cashier is terse, and is only too happy to close the store.
I usually only go into the tools building, but even the the hours are strange and sometimes it is inexplicably closed.

The prices in here are outrageous even in the current climate . If you're going to consult ebay you have to look at what things SOLD for. Also take condition into consideration. People don't go to thrift stores to pay full blown retail for all stuff you got for free. Charity or not.

I was passing through Sequim on my way to Port Angeles and decided I had the time to check out Serenity. It's exactly the type of shop a thrifter should visit! The place is well organized, clean, and despite what some reviews have said on here, the employees were super. I accidentally knocked a plate off a shelf and it broke so I picked it up, intending to pay for it. When I mentioned this to the very nice woman who was helping another customer, she took the broken pieces out of my hands, waved me off, and said "I appreciate you offering to pay but that's not necessary." I was so surprised...and very grateful. I ended up buying some sweet earrings and a beautiful hand made bowl. They also have an antique store in the back parking lot which is also very well organized. I could have stayed there eyeballing objects for hours. So if you're into thrifting, check this place out - it won't disappoint!

without warning of any kind my partner and i were approached by 3 large males who aggressively demanded "we dont approve of your shopping style we are going to have yo ask you to leave" i was mortified as i finally found an arm brace that didnt cause my fractured elbow in 3 places agonizing pain. if i could give them zero stars i would. now i cant breath they humiliated us in front of everyone right before we were avout to check in out. horrible experience, i have severe anxiety so i usually only get to catch the last 30 minutes or so before they close and today my partner and i got there around 11am trying to get a few things we needed.

Terrible service and experience. Even though I spent $125 I now regret. Will never shop here again.

Shopping for records and a stereo.Seems like they apply eBay pricing to everything (had $20+ on some records). That doesn't fit my definition of a thrift store. No bargains to be found here.

Went in and found a great pair of gently used sandals that are normally pricey. Fit great. Went up to pay for them, and let them know there was no price tag on them. The cashier proceeds to tell me she can’t sell items that do not have a price, but she can let someone in the back know they need to be priced. I asked if she could ask someone now? No. I asked if I could come back at a set time, she said you can, but she can’t guarantee if they will be priced at that time. Poor business practice. You have someone standing there wanting to purchase a good from your store, and because you made the error not to price the item , now I have to suffer from the mistake?
