This is the best lavender farm I’ve ever been to! I loved the Hidcote Pink scent, and we learned all about the distillation process of the lavender. Their gift shop was spectacular with lots of different purchase options as well as testers.

Visited the Lavender Connection today! We had the place to ourselves for a bit and enjoyed every minute! The owner was super helpful and kind. We enjoyed the u-pick system and got quite the colorful bundle! We had no idea there are so many varieties of lavender! Delicious ice cream! And dog friendly :-)

Really cute place, and open when some other farms along the route weren’t. Rick was very friendly and showed me the lavender oil distilling process, some of the different varieties (yes! The variety does have unique scents!) And I was able to find some of the varieties I really enjoyed in spray and oils in the gift shop. I recommend stopping here- very fun and kind!

I went to 7 lavender farms in one day and spend the most time at Lavender Connection. Rick, the dad, at the outdoor smelling kiosk, patiently let us sniff several of the over 20 types of lavender that they grow. Silly me, I had thought there is only one type of lavender and it mostly smells the same until I had Rick dipping the white paper strip in a botte of oil and offering it to me to smell. They each do smell totally different! He very nicely writes down the name on each strip to make it less confusing to go back and smell a previous oil to compare it. This was like a wine tasting without the drinking, just the smelling but no calories consumed! The list of lavenders and prices is on a menu, so you know upfront what you are smelling and how much it would be. The lavender plant can produce a small or large amount of oil as it is distilled which drives the price. Rick was wonderful showing the distillation equipment and explaining the process.
I got the Tucker's Early and the Provence lavender oils. They come in a big bottle, and he gives you a smaller glass bottle with the topper so you can shake it out. Also, he gives you a plastic eye dropper to move the oil to the smaller bottle so you don't contaminate or change the oil too much by constantly opening the cap of the bigger bottle.
In the store, his sweet daughter was working. I got some packets of lovely lavender shortbread cookies that were really good and as gifts.
I told jokingly told Rick that I had been there so long sampling lavender that I did not need to go to any other farms. He encouraged me to visit other lavender farms saying they all have something different. He was definitely supportive of other lavender farm owners and said that the lavender community in Sequim is supportive of each other. That was nice to know.

The farm offers a wide variety of lavender! The owner is incredibly friendly and took the time to introduce all the essential oils they produce from their lavender, allowing me to try them without any pressure. Also, the merchandise in the store is fantastic! Everything smells wonderful, and the staff is very nice. I'll definitely be coming back!

Ample Parking, Nice little gift shop and You-Pick station that provides temporary scissors/baskets to make your very own bouquet of Lavender, from basically every type of Lavender that exists.
