free covid and flu shots. I can't stop thinking about how embarrassed I was and how I am not forgetting what happened. I was told to make an appointment, which I did. When I got to the store for my appointment I showed And employee behind the counter my printed on-line appointment sheet. an assistant told me to get in line "over there" There was no line so I stood by the wall. After 45 minutes past my appointment, Customers were walking past me as they were called in to the vaccination room. So, I went back to the counter after gathering my sanity. The manager, ( Vivian), usually very nice, rudely told me "to get in line with the rest of them" Then she barked , "We don't take appointments, "it's walk in only"Walgreens in sequim Washington is a nice store. It's very clean and well stocked. The lighting is bright and adequate. However, the customer service people should remember this one thing;"Treat your customers like they are the only one in existence"I am still having a rough time forgetting this. I moved my business to Rite Aid pre-covid, and prefer it. The wife made the appt for me. I failed to change it.Learn from my mistake!

Terrible customer service. One clerk gave me erroneous information and the second clerk was not good. ( Incompetent may be too harsh.) Wife's doctor wanted her to use Walgreens. Big mistake. I will tell the doctor that we will only use Costco from now on. Don't have to be a member to use the pharmacy there.

Very disorganized. Confusing which you really don't want to see at a pharmacy. I'll NEVER get my prescriptions filled here. Too many ways to make a mistake. The woman at the checkout counter does not wear a mask but a spray shield, which the cdc says is NOT effective. And she yells at people who aren't wearing their mask properly. Very poor customer service. Avoid this place. Rite Aid is across the street.

I went in yesterday for my J&J COVID-19 vaccine. The pharmacist and the tech were both exceptional, and made the experience pleasant and quick. The pharmacist worked fast, and still allowed time for questions. I rarely post reviews, but like many other frontline health workers around here, these two were exceptionally competent and personable. Thank you!

Went in to get some snacks and had a "Spend $20, get $5 off" coupon from spending a certain amount of money previously at this store. The cashier couldn't get the coupon to work so he called the manager up. Alma, the manager, scanned it a few times and couldn't get it to work. Then she said, "What is this? Just a bunch of snacks and junk food?" *embarrassing* There was a huge line behind us and we don't like to cause a scene. Then when she couldn't get it to work, she just walked away with our coupon and ripped it up. Didn't say another word. Didn't say sorry or try to fix it. (It also wasn't expired) Just ripped up our coupon without saying a word and walked away. Her name was Alma and she was rude!!! So the cashier looked at us and apologized and said it should have worked, clearly this wasn't the first time this had happened since he felt that he needed to apologize for her. I know no one will see this but hoping maybe someone will talk to Alma and maybe fix her "managing skills"...

They claim to do Western Union. Do not expect to be able to receive money. Maybe they should change the hours of transactions? Very frustrating.

I have visited the store several times and have always had a good experience. The staff is always courteous and helpful and I can't say enough good things about my experience in the pharmacy department .

Worst RedBox Disc Ever: Whoever owns the Walgreens owns the RedBox and is responsible for the RedBox; and this is the absolute worst disc I have ever found in any RedBox out here. Nothing can be done of course and it really is just one step up from free library rentals, but I want people to see how locals treat property out here. The picture I'm including is of the disc for Overboard (the movie was worse than the disc) and we did nothing to the disc except take it out of the case; I had to document it because I was shocked at how bad it was. This proves why we can't have nice things in Sequim and this is why it's not worth living in Sequim when little enjoyments turn into major disappointments, because of the people who live here and have no respect for property that isn't theirs. There are no rental stores out here, and 99% of movies these days aren't worth the cost of the one extremely overpriced theater on the north peninsula, nor are the movies worth paying a provider to watch direct at home. Moral of the review: Do not move to Sequim if you want to enjoy life while you're under the age of 50, especially if you want more in a nightlife than Redbox rentals and local open mic nights. Do not move to Sequim if you want to find movies to rent that aren't covered in gross slop from who knows what (the case was just as disgusting). Do not move to Sequim if you can help it, but if you do have to move here don't depend on local businesses to provide movie enjoyment.
