First and foremost, Izzy was exceptional.
This is a wonderful local studio with every service you'd expect. The decor is charming, well maintained, and it is staffed by people who care. They were able to get both myself and my sister in for a cut the same day we called for an appointment.
As an individual with sensory issues and anxiety I was beyond pleased with my experience and even more so with my new cut. Izzy did a wonderful job on my hair, she gave practical recommendations for care, and all the while felt wholesome and welcoming. A slight detriment being that it felt exceedingly bright but the lights are there for a reason and I did not request anything different.
I'm certain they would have worked with me had I broached the topic and it was not such short notice so I can't rightfully detract from 5 stars all around. Highly recommend 2nd Street Design.

Went the same day I made my appointment and saw Sarah Zyski. Absolutely LOVE my hair and when I asked for things that didn't align with my picture references she explained it to me and got a good understanding of what I really wanted, which is so important to me! I will come back to her next time I want my haircut again!

I've been coming to 2nd Street for years, they always do a great job. Sarah is wonderful, she does my cuts and color. Chrissy is awesome as well, I've had last minute schedule things pop up and she's always kind and works with me. Appreciate you guys!

Can't speak to all the stylists here (though everyone seems happy and friendly) but I have had great success with Lizz - love her advice and skill. She really has listened carefully to my concerns and preferences. Color and foils have depth and have been just perfect for my coloring! I often get compliments on the style and color of my hair! It's been a couple of years now and I'm really grateful for the consistent quality.
