Absolutely terrible customer service. I mean I've never been talked down to like I'm a child like this before. Go to Shelton pharmacy. It's just up the road a a 💯 better and more professional

Very friendly and helpful staff who were more than happy to make sure I knew everything I needed to know about my medication. Instructions for new medications were relayed, as expected. Only downside is the occasional line during busy hours that can take a while to get through; although nothing out of the ordinary for any pharmacy during busy hours.

Great Pharmacists & workers but plan on waiting at least 30 minutes just to get to get to the counter for drop off & another 30 when you come back to pick up. Fill times range from 20 minutes to 2 hours. Safeway needs a new system & more than 1 employee working the counter. It's the worst in town. I'm going to switch pharmacies.

This pharmacy needs to come up with a new system. It took me over 20 minutes of standing in line when there were only two people ahead of me. Maybe open the other window for the pharmacist to talk to people while the cashier is ringing the others up? You may need a couple of chairs for people who are not able to stand for so long? Just some ideas before I find a new pharmacy.

Great staff. Lines can be long but staff shortages is the reason. Not staffs fault. Store clean and they almost always has what I need. Uncomfortable at night with the homeless in the parking lot

I contacted the pharmacy a week before my new mood disorder medication was out because I know that it might take a while because it was a new medication and there had to contact with the doctor. but after a week and a half with out contact from pharmacy I contacted the pharmacy just to find out that they had faxed three times but didn't call the doctor's office fast for 7 days i still don't have my medication because of issues that could be solved over a phone call instead they faxed two more time. I contacted the pharmacy again to see what was up because I need this medication just to be told to contact my doctor to see what was going on so I contacted my doctor and my doctor said to have the contact the pharmacy them and ask why I was contacting them instead of the pharmacy. I have not had issues in the past but I need a pharmacy that is accountable and will provide me with my medication in a timely manner please contact me if you're not able to provide this.

Pretty slow on filling. Have called in refills, only to find out after waiting a couple days and having to follow up myself, “it had to be ordered”… on a monthly regular refill. Line is usually long and a mixed bag on how helpful/friendly the staff you’ll get will be.

Disrespectful pharmacists and a tendency to lie about prescriptions being ready in the app and over the phone, then tell you it's not approved by insurance or your doctor when you get there. They sure as sure know people live 30-40 minutes away surrounding town, but they do not care one bit about the your time.

I suppose the pharmacist is tired of all the druggies in the neighborhood giving him a hard time. But I'm a 69 year old, master's level educated teacher, and Viet Nam Era veteran. I don't want to get shingles! So I called the VA, where I get all my (excellent) healthcare, and they advised me to go to the Safeway pharmacy to get the shot, because there is no VA facility in Shelton. All Safeways are approved by the VA. Well, I was initially treated condescendingly by the clerk, then told to fill out a bunch of forms. Then the pharmacist came and told me that "my insurance was denied." I didn't want to argue, but basically told him that the VA covers Safeway pharmacies. I said I would need some documentation of the denial so that I could take it back to the VA, and they would handle it. (They are very proactive nowadays). He said he would bring me a copy of the computer printout that showed denial. He brought me a hand-written note, scribbled--basically--"get some insurance, lady." I told him this must be a mistake. He turned around and went through a door, and told me to have a nice day. What a jerk!

I worked for Safeway for approximately 5 years. Everyone is friendly and Safeways policy, how I was taught was the customer is always first and they are what is most important.

Apparently at the PHARMACY you can go to the DROP OFF line and get "special treatment" which allows you to "jump" to the front of the line at the PICK UP line whether you were "there earlier" or not. Waited in line like everyone else and it was on the more busy part of the day so there was a good line going. I didn't mind waiting but when it was my turn they allowed someone who just walked to the drop off line go up go next to pick up. Was told it was because he was there earlier.. OK there is still a line of people and the right thing to do would of been telling them to go to the end of the line and... wait.... their...turn.. like everyone else. Bad time management ??
