This pharmacy needs to come up with a new system. It took me over 20 minutes of standing in line when there were only two people ahead of me. Maybe open the other window for the pharmacist to talk to people while the cashier is ringing the others up? You may need a couple of chairs for people who are not able to stand for so long? Just some ideas before I find a new pharmacy.

Great staff. Lines can be long but staff shortages is the reason. Not staffs fault. Store clean and they almost always has what I need. Uncomfortable at night with the homeless in the parking lot

I contacted the pharmacy a week before my new mood disorder medication was out because I know that it might take a while because it was a new medication and there had to contact with the doctor. but after a week and a half with out contact from pharmacy I contacted the pharmacy just to find out that they had faxed three times but didn't call the doctor's office fast for 7 days i still don't have my medication because of issues that could be solved over a phone call instead they faxed two more time. I contacted the pharmacy again to see what was up because I need this medication just to be told to contact my doctor to see what was going on so I contacted my doctor and my doctor said to have the contact the pharmacy them and ask why I was contacting them instead of the pharmacy. I have not had issues in the past but I need a pharmacy that is accountable and will provide me with my medication in a timely manner please contact me if you're not able to provide this.

Pretty slow on filling. Have called in refills, only to find out after waiting a couple days and having to follow up myself, “it had to be ordered”… on a monthly regular refill. Line is usually long and a mixed bag on how helpful/friendly the staff you’ll get will be.

I suppose the pharmacist is tired of all the druggies in the neighborhood giving him a hard time. But I'm a 69 year old, master's level educated teacher, and Viet Nam Era veteran. I don't want to get shingles! So I called the VA, where I get all my (excellent) healthcare, and they advised me to go to the Safeway pharmacy to get the shot, because there is no VA facility in Shelton. All Safeways are approved by the VA. Well, I was initially treated condescendingly by the clerk, then told to fill out a bunch of forms. Then the pharmacist came and told me that "my insurance was denied." I didn't want to argue, but basically told him that the VA covers Safeway pharmacies. I said I would need some documentation of the denial so that I could take it back to the VA, and they would handle it. (They are very proactive nowadays). He said he would bring me a copy of the computer printout that showed denial. He brought me a hand-written note, scribbled--basically--"get some insurance, lady." I told him this must be a mistake. He turned around and went through a door, and told me to have a nice day. What a jerk!

I worked for Safeway for approximately 5 years. Everyone is friendly and Safeways policy, how I was taught was the customer is always first and they are what is most important.

Apparently at the PHARMACY you can go to the DROP OFF line and get "special treatment" which allows you to "jump" to the front of the line at the PICK UP line whether you were "there earlier" or not. Waited in line like everyone else and it was on the more busy part of the day so there was a good line going. I didn't mind waiting but when it was my turn they allowed someone who just walked to the drop off line go up go next to pick up. Was told it was because he was there earlier.. OK there is still a line of people and the right thing to do would of been telling them to go to the end of the line and... wait.... their...turn.. like everyone else. Bad time management ??

The pharmacists and staff are very efficient and always on time with my prescriptions. I really like the hours of operation and the service I receive. Prices are lower as well.

Disrespectful pharmacists and a tendency to lie about prescriptions being ready in the app and over the phone, then tell you it's not approved by insurance or your doctor when you get there. They sure as sure know people live 30-40 minutes away surrounding town, but they do not care one bit about the your time.

The newest pharmacist, a woman with dark hair is rude and disrespectful even when she's made a mistake. She is also very slow. If you call her about a prescription she will never give you a pick up time because she won't commit. I know she recognizes me because I have several major health challenges and she stares at me when I'm in line. She will never try to find the least expensive option like most pharmacists do. She seems to care more about maintaining her large garish tattoos and 2 inch long claw like nails than she does doing her job which is a serious responsibility to the medically fragile community. I like the male pharmacist better, he at least has some compassion.

i'm an older lady with a really bad arm right arm that I can hardly use sometimes and when I go to the Safeway store I asked them the cashier not to put so many groceries in one bag so I can lift it Without injuring my arm more-they never help me to get the bag off the site where they bag the groceries into the basket they leave it all up to me every time For me to lift from there into my own basket! I've gone there they left it up to me to do all the work even though I tell them I have a bad arm I am getting so I can't handle Safeway With the attitude not friendly not smiling I'm sorry if you're overworked but not my problem or my fault I'm a customer I should be treated better than that! I'm gonna be going somewhere else to shop!
