They had a Starbucks inside the Safeway which was great and they had restrooms which was also a plus. We were working by the Safeway.

The Deli Hot food is awesome! The workers have great personalities and a very satisfying experience.
Plenty of Handicap Carts.

This store was clean, employees were helpful but it was around 11am and they were already limited on salads and items in the deli. We purchased a couple of bags of ice, but then got to the machine, and they were sold out. Would have been nice for inventory to know these things, and share with checkers, or the system so you cannot ring up what you do not have. We did not have time to wait in the lines again to get the refund on the ice, so just left without ice and had to go to other stores for more salad options and ice.

Wow. I have never had such a bad experience here. Usually this store is amazing. But today DAVID D. employee decided that when he was off work he was going to hold up the entire line with paper coupons and needed tons of correction. He could have and should have cashed out at customer service. One line open on 4th of July weekend, Friday night 7pm and an EMPLOYEE as a customer IS THE PROBLEM.
And "person in charge" Ken wasn't helpful at all. He just let his single checker Michael DROWN. Please for the love of God sit down with David D. And tell him when it's acceptable for an employee to use paper coupons. He also while in line went behind the register on 2 and got coupons in the register and then used them to pay. Very very inappropriate.

Always go here for groceries.Great store, friendly staff. They have moved items around so you have to search for items.

Store seems consistently understaffed. It is very inconsistent. Some visits will have well maintained depts and shelves and some will be the complete opposite. Prices are still better than some of their competitors.

Fat Filipino girl is very rude!!! She saw me standing there waiting to order. I asked her if I could order. She responded in a rude and stern voice "What?!" I asked again if I could order and she said"wait!" I responded she was so rude and she looked at me very ? evil! I walked away and denied her services! If you are in a public service you should act more accordingly. If you do not then go to the back and stay away from any customer service roles.

No one to wrap flowers. Even after I called somebody, nobody shows up. Nobody cares. bakery said 20 minutes to wait to cut some bread don’t go go somewhere else

General Manager at store plays pranks on customers and continues to mock them after, for me this was him pretending to run off and then saying to me 'You should have seen the look on your face'.This is unprofessional and I did not have any spare time as I had already waited upwards of 10 minutes for help at the meat department (which they never came and I had to proceed to the front).I reached out to corporate and was told that the District Manager would reach out to me, although they never did. The staff at this store was collectively low quality and verbally unwanting to help customers. Both my in store experience and my experience with corporate has made the Safeway brand one in which I no longer respect.I prefer to settle these things quietly, but when a company holds themselves to such low standards I am more then happy to speak out. Remember that this type of management runs each and every store in the Seattle Metropolitan. Absolutely GROSS.

Every visit is the same. I arrive in a hurry, because it's the closest grocery store, and I leave disappointed because they are always out of some basic thing and I have to go to Central/Town & Country instead. Today it was cooking twine. Last time it was curry. But it's every time.Update: last time it was no soft tofu, tonight the ice cream freezer is broken. Flawless track record continues.There's an absurd obstacle course set up every night, where the doors closest to 15th are locked, but once you get in the doors fartherst from the street, theres a wall of carts and baskets blocking the produce, so you need to walk all the way across the store the other way to get to the actual food.Mary Pat is a gem, and gas is cheap, so 2 stars.

Your prices are way too high to only have two cashiers at 5pm. I really hope you are paying your employees phenomenally well.
