The Shoreline Historical Museum is a compact yet informative museum that showcases the rich history of the Shoreline area. Downsized from a 15,000 sq ft space to a 900 sq ft one, the museum still manages to provide a comprehensive overview of the city's past, including details about the former Playland amusement park from 1930 to 1960. Visitors can learn about the history of the city, as well as the technology that played a significant role in its development, such as the telegraph. The museum's warm and welcoming volunteers enhance the experience, making it a great destination for those interested in exploring the local history. Whether you're a longtime resident or just curious to learn more about Shoreline, the Shoreline Historical Museum is a must-visit attraction.
It's a very small museum which downsized from a 15,000 sq ft space to a 900 sq ft one. I enjoyed learning about their new planting on the land (the comments about the lot are outdated) and I learned about Playland, an amusement park from 1930 to 1960.

Stopped in to see whether worth bringing my mom here. She will love it. She’s been talking about how much she loved Playland many years ago.
