Had a great experience! They communicated very well, I never had to question a time frame and was provided a loaner car when it took longer than expected. Highly recommend!

I love my Subarus and I love smart Subaru. My first Subaru was laid to rest somewhere north of 300,000 miles. And it wasn’t the engine. It was just worn out all together. It was 22 years old. My new one is now 10 years old and Smart Subaru is the only place I trust to keep my cars safe and functioning to last for many years and many miles.

My go-to auto shop for my Toyota. Up-front and transparent quotes and advice without any pressure. Jess is amazing and I’ve had a few emergency situations where I could drop by for a quick fix without an appointment. Great and efficient work with straightforward answers and advice, I can’t recommend this place enough!

We appreciated the quick, efficient service with the informative discussion of the problem we had. They took their time to answer our questions and their immediate feed back was great. The car was finished by end of day with the option to use a lender car if needed.Service: Electrical repair

I had a bad experience with an auto shop that charged me too much money for unnecessary services. The shop kept giving their workers more work to do, even if it wasn't needed. For example, when I needed to replace my radiator's filler neck, they insisted on replacing the entire radiator, which cost $1,350 for the part and labor. However, I found a relevant YouTube video and was able to replace just the needed part for only $31.92.

very professional wonderful communication. Text and full list of recommendations along with why recommend with easy approval or denial of specific services. Receipt matching all communications plus lockbox access for after hours pick up. This is how a service center in these times should be run. I’ll not go anywhere else now for serviceServices: General repairs & maintenance

A+ service! These folks are great. They are upfront and direct. I get detailed reports. They have after-hours pickup, which is big for me because I work late. They do good work, and best of all they give good advice. I was ready to pay them to replace my engine on my beater, and they suggested I wait and see if it was really necessary. 2 years later it turns out not to be needed, that’s thousands saved. Now I take my new car there too.Services: Electrical repair

I took my 2015 Subaru Forester to Smart Service 2 weeks ago and I am obsessed. I literally have not shut up about them and will never let anyone else touch my car ever again.First off, their service and communication is so convenient and efficient. The night drop off is so nice. They texted me when my car was checked in, and again when the inspection was complete with a link to the inspection summary. They show everything they found, the level of urgency, and cost to resolve.I planned my week really badly and they were SO accommodating, even though they did not have to be. My appointment was on a Thursday and I forgot I committed to driving to Eastern Washington on Friday. Before taking my car in, I let them know that the drive belt and brake fluid needed changing, and asked if it could be done before I left Friday. They of course couldn’t make any promises but took it into consideration. My car ended up needing more work than expected and they didn’t have the availability to work on it before I was supposed to leave. I was totally prepared to take my car as is, but they offered to keep it overnight in case they had any cancellations and were actually able to work on my car and finish up exactly at the time I needed it by. They even called me right at that time to let me know it was ready. I felt so bad for rushing them, I tried to leave a cash tip, and they wouldn’t let me!This all started because my transmission was acting up. It was not shifting smoothly and would get really jumpy when driving uphill at low speeds. I had an oil change at my (former) usual place earlier in the month and they said it was just my transmission aging and there was nothing I could do because nobody works on CVTs. He told me I’d either need to invest in replacing it eventually ($10k) or put that money towards a new car. This car is new to me so that wasn’t happening. I then took my car to the Subaru dealership to see if I was eligible for the CVT extended warranty. They had 3 people take my car out and could not replicate the issue. They ended up performing module updates and a CVT relearn. It felt different but definitely was not fixed. They also gave me a list of other issues they identified, including the drive belt and brake fluid I mentioned earlier. They also found my refrigerant and coolant leaking (quoted $900) and an oil leak ($385). I didn’t want to do these at the dealership, so I started looking online to figure out where the heck people take their Subarus. Then I found Smart Service and they changed my life. They changed the brake fluid and drive belt for $100 less than what the dealership quoted. They noted the coolant leak, but found it was an o-ring preventing the radiator cap from sealing. I’m pretty sure that o-ring came from my oil change place because the A/C got less cold after that. They noted the oil leak, but because it was in a unique area, they recommended just monitoring. They noted the car surging and bogging during acceleration and deemed the engine performance very poor. It was so relieving that someone understood that my car was not performing normally. They recommended more diagnostic time to find the source. Since I was in a time crunch, I asked if they thought I could take my car on my trip in that state, and they recommended against it. I was shocked because the dealership let me go on with my life with my car like that. They are angels and did all the services AND resolved my transmission issue exactly on time. The transmission issue actually took them less time than expected, so I paid half of what they quoted me for it. They saved me so much money and I have no doubt they know what they’re doing. My mind was blown.

Smart Service!! I never thought I would leave a repair shop with a smile on my face. I took my Rav4 in KNOWING it needed front breaks. 100% ready to pay $1100 or more for this service. I got a call saying that my litttle Rav doesn't need breaks or anything else for that matter. They had a few suggestions for near future such and changing fluids but basically gave her a clean bill of health and ZERO charge!! I had taken my Subaru in when I first bought it and was pleased whith the work and customer service and that's why we went back. THANK YOU SMART SERVICE!

I took my 2003 Toyota Tacoma to a local dealer for an oil change. They attempted to upsell me service for $3500 dollars. I declined and took the vehicle to Smart for. Full inspection.. they fixed two issues for around $180 and said everything else was fine. They were professional, friendly and honest. I have two Toyotas and Smart is my future go to mechanicServices: Transmission

I took my Toyota Tacoma to a local dealer for an oil change. During the process they told me needed services that added up to $3500. I declined and took the vehicle to Smart for an inspection as I heard they had a good reputation. Smart found two issues amounting to $180. They are efficient, friendly and honest. I have two Toyotas and Smart is my new go to car service.
